Hi Paul, Thanks. Having managed HTTPS servers for decades it was nice to see someone tie Wordpress and web servers together in a Security context. It was very kind of you and Eduonix to off this course for free. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -- AND THEN TO LOOK FOR ANY COURSE BY YOUR COMPANY AND YOURSELF. One of the easiest 5 stars ratings I have ever given.

So far it's a good match as I need to make wordpress sites that are more secure! Now it should be brought up to date. As it is outdated by a good few years. I'm sure some of the plugins that are required will no longer be available as this course is quite a few years old now. Apart from that a great course!

To be honest the way you teach is wonderful. I'm a very experienced WordPress user I used to work at HostGator. Com I used to work at IBM after that so I have learned a lot of knowledge especially when customers would call with WordPress issues. With that said I would just would like to say with my experience with WordPress I do see you going the extra mile and I see you teaching stuff that I knew little about, so I stopped right in the middle of the lasting just to rate this and tell you thank you for teaching me something I was not aware of with WordPress. I love learning things about WordPress that I really did not take into consideration for example changing the admin URL using Wordpress admin login I did not know that was possible I've always done this manually through the database and moving files over to the correct folder that I changed to. I wonder how long work dresses had that available surprised I didn't catch it sooner thank you so much for teaching stuff some people are really not aware of especially experience users like me. Thank you thank you thank you

I think this course was done back in 2013. Quite a few of the plugins that he refers to are outdated/haven't been update in years. I tend to stay away from plugins that don't update themselves on a regular basis. None-the-less he still gives some great advice overall and I found it useful. Thus the reason I took away 1-1/2 stars for not having updated content.

When developing pages myself, and not using a CMS as my main content, a lot of this stuff never occurred to me. I took the course after being notified of two of the wordpresses I made having over 130 attacks on them overnight! Thankfully they all failed. However, I knew immediately I needed to tighten things up. A few of the plugins are desperately outdated in this course now. But there are certain plugins that work that will easily replace them. For instance- Better WP security is now iThemes- IMPORTANT their hide backend DOES NOT WORK right now. I had to download WPS hide login to fix that. I completely removed iThemes security because I didn't know what else it was outdated on. Otherwise though, it shows you how to confidently do this stuff. Well worth the time.

I just finished learning CMS the program used was Word press. So I took this course to further my understanding of Word Press as there was not much taught about Word Press Security.. this is where this course helped me understand the Security side of word press. If I can take something away from what I have learnt I am a happy man and this course gave me something to take for future reference. The course was well explained and presented well. Thank you for Providing this course as I enjoyed doing the course and thank you for teaching me something's I did not know. Anthony M. Tucek

I learned quite a bit from this course. The information was presented clearly and was pretty easy to follow. I enjoyed the lectures and I'm looking forward to implementing some of the things that I learned. The only gripe I have is that it doesn't look like it has been updated very recently - the dates in a couple of the videos is from 2013. I'd like to see some more current information. Other than that, great job!

The WP and plugin versions used to demo are older WP versions (WP3.2+ I think) with a couple of now-outdated plugins. Also many of the .htaccess manual addition sections are now handled with one plugin: iThemes Security (formerly known as Better WP Security). However overall, it was a good overview and pretty well presented. Thank you.

I enjoyed this course and found it valuable. The fact the author shared the plugins he used and kept it pretty basic (versus long winded tech explanations) made it easy to follow. If someone is looking for a good overview, this is worth the time and cost. The author/narrator sounded sincere and I like that.

Brad talked us through the whole process in an organised way using simple language (except for some jargon, most of which he explained pretty well), so that even a WP dummy could follow along and not get too lost, or give up with a bad case of overwhelm. I now realise how nieve I was to put up a couple of Wordpress sites, and expect them not to get hacked. However, all is not lost, and now I can be confident I will have a site that is finally as secure as I can make it.
