Hue Collingbourne is a very good virtual instructor. I did find that I had to replay many of the videos as it can be a touch technical but its generally fairly easy to grasp.

This is a great short introductory course for anyone who has no experience in coding and in C# language in particular. It explains the main concepts of C# smoothly and lets you practice with basic programmes to familiarize you with different coding techniques. I would highly recommend such course for beginners, but not for someone with the intermediate knowledge level.

I am an experienced C# programmer who has been retired for a few years and, thus, wanted a refresher course. I also sometimes take basic courses because one tends to program the same sorts of things normally and it is easy to forget features you haven't used but may now benefit from. I found this course and the instructor to be quite clear.

Great course! When starting this course, I had no previous knowledge of C#. It took me 3 weeks to study all the courses. And will spend another week reading and rewriting the code provided by the course. It teaches all the syntax and rules of the C sharp and Dot net frameworks, such as data types, functions, and classes. It feels very hard to learn constructor, dictionary, class, enum. And I don't understand exception handling very well. But I will keep learning it. It gets harder and harder in the last few steps and may take more time to understand everything well. It's better than free courses on youtube which teach very little and the course teaches everything you need to know. Five star!

Huw Collingbourne is by far the best instructor on UDEMY. He explains things so clearly and always provides great examples and documentation with each of his classes. He has written several books on programming languages as well as some fiction books! I would highly recommend him especially if you are new to programming. You will learn not only about the programming language but about programming in general and the development environment.

Good introduction to C#. The instructor don't write a code in front of your face what safe a lot of time. All the code used in the curse is released to the students as a one packages so you don't have to download every single sample per lesson. Mr Huw speak slow so is very easy to understand. Sometimes a bit to slow but it is acceptable.

I needed some sort of insight into C# and some baseline start to learn as I look to be a video game designer. This helps quite a bit, but I also need to take some notes, or have some form of written documentation, as well so retaining the knowledge in this course becomes easier. While some documentation is provided, it hasn't served as a summary of the lessons allowing a form of hard copy to be reviewed and kept on hand.

I like the bite size videos. Also the progression putting all the pieces together in the finale project. As an ex-VB.net developer and a highly experienced T-SQL developer I always thought I wouldn't need to learn C#. And frankly I always found the obtuse nature of the symbols and keywords in it a bit daunting to learn. This course clearly guided me through all that and I can see it really is very similar to VB.Net and I should have bitten the bullet years ago and learnt it. Thanks Huw

The instructor explains topics using already written codes; however, he does not walk through the code very well. Consequently, a large portion of the codes remains unexplained. Some of the basic concepts are explained quite well, but the instructor is unable to elaborate the more complex subjects efficiently. Overall, I see the course below average and do not recommend it.

I enjoyed this. I am an experienced developer, but had no knowledge of C# or Visual Studio. I stumbled across the course, and it was a good price, so I thought "why not?". I spent a couple of very pleasant evenings listening to it. Huw is an excellent presenter. He teaches in a clear, simple, and uncluttered style. He also speaks slowly and clearly, which is of great importance for any kind of teacher. I had no problem understanding the material; a raw beginner might find it a little more challenging in places, but that's part of the wonder of learning. I would recommend this course. (Huw, a separate lesson on Lists and Dictionaries, just like your one on streams, might not be of harm. Also, your discussion on properties could be amended to explain the => set/get syntax, which you use in your Adventure Game code.)

The course is very informative. I am learning a lot. However, I wish there were problems or exercises designed to reinforce the material already covered. The quiz's are okay but I would rather learn by doing something.
