Learn DevOps: CI/CD with Jenkins using Pipelines and Docker (Udemy.com)

I understand that the instructor is trying to quickly get someone up to speed with this course without spending a lot of time on the basics of underlying understanding. I spent too much time getting the basic things to work. I'm only halfway through the course at this point but I feel that I've spent enough time that I should be at least 80% done. I know more than when I started for sure but I'm not sure how I'm going to apply what I've seen so far to my task at hand in my job. I'm not sure whether to bag this course at this point and find another or trudge through the remaining sections. Sorry to be so negative but I don't feel prepared for much yet. It definitely would help if I had a better background understanding of these things before I started. This course might be more helpful for someone already into a lot of the base technology presented here. Might be more of my problem than the instructors.

Amazing, above expectations

Really great course.

Missing knowledge tests of any kind, lot of details haven't been covered if you want to test the same thing that teacher did in his lessons.

The course is easy to follow and provides a good foundation for the use of Jenkins. However, the demos are sometimes hard to follow, as the plugins have been updated since the release of the course.

This is too much focus on slides and no real life example. In addition the course spend too much time on irrevelant topic. Why not spend this time on an intro to Groovy. Write pipeline together and make a true project. I basically could have read Jenkins docs and would have had more info than during this course. A waste of time in my opinion.

Turned off by the heavy use of masculine pronouns. Otherwise clear.

I think this course would benefit from some exercises. The demos are ok and the course provides advice on how to reproduce the demos but I think a better way to learn is to set the student a goal and allow the student to do things themselves and then maybe provide best practice solutions. I would've liked more advice on pipeline syntax and best practices in this area too.
