Course Description

In this Learning C# Design Patterns training course, expert author Keith Welch will teach you about design patterns, and how to use them to create reusable, maintainable code. This course is designed for users that already have experience with C#, as well as basic object-oriented programming principles.
You will start by learning about creational patterns, including abstract factory, builder, prototype, and singleton. From there, Keith will teach you about structural patterns, such as adapter, bridge, composite, and facade. This video tutorial also covers behavioral patterns, such as chain of responsibility, common, iterator, and mediator. Finally, you will learn about the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern. Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will be fully capable of using these 23 design patterns to create your own C# code. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.

Just Amazing

By Jan Hulek on 10/7/2020

I supplemented the course with searching on google for more examples of the real world usage of the patterns. The examples in this course are really basic and as such you can easily miss some of their interesting application. Here's to hoping they'll add an "advanced uses" part someday. On the other hand the simple examples allow you to concentrate on topic without interruptions.
I even had an epiphany when looking at the State pattern and realized how to solve user impersonation in the existing application I'm working on without changing large parts of it.

As i expected

Looks like this course is more suitable for static media rather than a video

By John Schruben on 8/5/2020

This course explains thing in a very simplistic manor which made it easy to understand. I have studied these patterns though articles in the past but the lectures really drove the concepts home for me. If you have problems opening your working files, add the .zip extension to the file name and extract it. At least this is what I had to do to see the content.

I loved the way the course is set , also the way explanation happens then a full example is explained with code.

By Sibusiso Mthimunye on 5/10/2020

well explained.

Great, this course gave me a wide perspective about patterns with no complicated examples. Easy to understand and very well explained.

By Kenton on 3/24/2020

The author of the course uses straightforward examples and plain English. This could easily serve as a substitute or companion guid for Gang of Four.

awesome

By Tru Dong Tran on 3/14/2020

A little boring stuff, but doing good explaination.

By Ivan Berezhnyk on 3/1/2020

These patterns definitely won't become obsolete, but the last part (Asp Net MVC) already did it.
