Looker Studio – The Practical Masterclass (Udemy.com)

I finished this course!!! The instructor was very through and covered all aspects of Looker Studio. It was a bit of a slog but I followed along with every example in the lesson, building dozens of dashboards. The exercises were great and helped cement the learning. I think my only two complaints were 1. The instructor would talk pretty fast so I was always playing the lesson at .75x and 2. The instructor promised more updates but I think this class has been around for 2 years and there doesn't seem to be any updates during that time. But otherwise, if you want to learn Looker Studio, this is a great investment.

This course is really beginner-friendly. It almost covers up the whole knowledge about Looker by being practically.

This course was essential for me as I needed to create a financial dashboard. With knowing next to nothing about Looker Studio before, I now feel like an expert thanks to this course and I appreciated the instructions on how to link with BigQuery data as that was also another area where I needed practical knowledge.

Great so far! The pace is a little fast if you're trying to follow along - I think it would be challenging if I wasn't familiar with other BI tools.

The course content was incredibly rich and in-depth. It covered a wide range of material, from foundational concepts to advanced topics. The 8.5 hours of instruction will probably take me five times that long or more to fully absorb through repeated viewing and practice. The explanations were very clear. However, for a non-native English speaker, the pacing of both the speaking and the demonstrations was a little fast. I often watched at 0.75× speed (though this could just be a personal issue). Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to deep-dive into Looker Studio.

Too fast, without explaining doing lots of things, just moving from one place to another. you need to stop and find what he is doing.

I took this course on a whim, but I do not regret taking it. I was looking at my career options and Data Analyst was one that really caught my attention. I can confidently say that this course reinforced that interest. The projects were great the tutorials were pretty good and I'm sure I'll be back to review some of these videos. To anyone looking to take this course, my advice to you is to have fun with it. This is one of the data analytics tools where you can really let your creativity flow. I really enjoyed the course and my one issue was at times the instructions were pretty vague. Other than that, I had fun. Huge shout out to the instructor this was awesome :) !

Great course so far, I like his deep dives but more importantly how he rounds up all the videos with good examples at the end. These are critical as when I do come back for references I don't need to rewatch all the videos to get a feel but a good brief overview. There is a lot of poor courses out there but this is meeting all my expectations. Loving the course. Improvement: I believe he can zoom out a little bit as some panels in the screen aren't always visible, as well as just give 1 more example with the deep dives in order to truly, cement the lesson.

All of the files weren't attached for lesson 1.5. Also, maybe I have a newer version of Looker Studio since this was filmed, but not all of the actions reproduced the same results. Going from the data set to the report did not naturally create a table on the report.
