Course Description
Vectors are an extremely important aspect of game programming. In this course, you're introduced to vectors in two dimensions to make the process of learning as simple as possible. The lessons are animated presentations, with several summary code lessons. The course covers the fundamentals of vectors though a variety of illustrations, and through direct applications to Unity game programming. Though the concepts are introduced in two dimensions, many of the concepts carry over to three dimensions. The code examples shown are in C#. This course will be useful to game programmers, but also to people who are interested in science in general because vectors are a general scientific concept. Let's get exploring!

Impressive! The instructor is excellent. I believe he is a university professor who has a deep understanding of the subjects and explains them concisely and clearly. I am exhausted by self-proclaimed "instructors" who talk for 30-40 hours. In just 1.5 hours, I grasped the fundamental concept of vectors. Now, I am planning to purchase another math course from this instructor.

I noticed some discontinuity between videos, such as the announcement of the next topic not quite matching the next topic being presented (or in at least one case, not clearly). While I liked the presentation of examples in Unity to do the math involved in the lectures, it seemed too basic and it would be nice if there were some highlighted correlation between the code that was written (although commented) with the images that represent it. It also seemed as if the course were very short and could have included a more comprehensive use of 2D vectors, such as determining parallel vectors, using cross product to determine rotation towards an object, affects of outside forces (such as gravity) against an object. The examples could have also been a bit more in-depth, such as including rotating the ship to point towards its target while moving, perhaps expanding upon moving an object towards its end position over a given period of time, etc.

I liked the course. I now have a much better understanding of the practical usage of 2-dimensional Vectors in Unity. I liked how the instructor continued to build our knowledge on paper in each successive tutorial and then showing how to use that knowledge in Unity. I also ended up taking his OOP course.

It is short but very well done.

The instructor does and excellent job of going from the maths concept to the application of the concept in Unity, so there is never a "why do I have to understand this" moment. He uses graphics effectively to teach the concepts. Glad I bought this one.
