Hi! I'm Nick, and I love to code.About five years ago I decided that I wanted to learn to code, but I had limited access to programming resources, and I was getting frustrated with all of the YouTube videos and online tutorials out there. I experimented, struggled, and definitely failed a lot, but I finally got the hang of it, so I decided that I wanted to change the way that people learned to code, and I started teaching. My experience as an online student has directly influenced my teaching style, because I know what it is like to be in your shoes.
When Apple announced their new programming language, Swift, in 2014, I made my big online teachingdebutandcreated the internet's first Swift course.Since that time, I have become a full-time online instructor and I now have courses not only in Swift, but also in iOS, Android,Django, Kotlin, Python, HTML, Blockchain, etc.I have also created five iOSapps from scratch that are currently live in the App Store and arebeing used by thousands of users worldwide.

I love sharing my excitement for coding with my students, and I try to make learning as fun and as easy as possible. Thanks for being part of mycoding community!

I have completed half of the course so far. This is the third course from Nick that I have bought on Udemy. He is a great teacher - clear, precise and keeps it very interesting.

I wish I had 6 stars to give away. The step by step details and explanation with examples and resource availability makes it the best course for begineers

Really it is to the point.
Thanks Nick

An excellent tutor and course. However, I would like more emphasis on AJAX/JSON and less on basics like forms etc. Otherwise, perfect!

By Douglas Tietjen on 9/1/2020

It was great to learn some more advanced programming methods.

this course is a great match for anyone looking to further learn Django after the basics.

What can I say? This man knows his stuff. Very pleasing to listen to and actually talks at a very comfortable pace. The flow of the project is very logical. Another course I did on udemy the guy coded like 98% of the project and only then started the server to see how things were going. Nick on the other hand hardly turned off the server. Every little bit of functionality and design would get checked right away in the browser so you always had a visual of what exactly it is that you are coding. This is a very stellar looking project as well. Something you'd be proud to show others.

Keeps everything beginner friendly. Doesn't show more than is needed to get you into the basic understanding of Django.

By Wilson W on 7/25/2020

It's good, but honestly, you need to do some research yourself as sometimes there are sometimes not in-depth explanations or explanations at all. You need to use trial and error, rewatch videos, or ask others to fully understand the concepts behind the lectures.

Terrific course! Current content, well paced, useful exercise with YouTube API (instead of the usual ToDo lists one often finds etc.). I'll admit I have some Python/Django prior experience which helped. Presentation was very good and my final criteria for a technical course - everything from development to especially deployment - Works!

By Andrew C on 7/15/2020

This is the third of Nick's courses that I've taken. He explains things in a way that are understandable, and doesn't just simply tell you what code to write.

By Miguel Guzman on 6/13/2020

Good, but not as good as the Django for Beginers course.
