Mastering Server Side Swift Using Vapor 3 (Udemy.com)

Fantastic Course. I highly recommend this course who want build your own server using Swift. Reading and understanding document is not enough if you don't have any experience about server-side frameworks. Teacher guides me what to do. I hope this course will be updated vapor 4 and authentication + signinWithApple also!

This is very intresting topic because i can create my own apis/webservice after this. Since i am already familiar with iOS development, i can make my own applications after this course. Vapor makes it easy and feels familiar to understand server side code in xcode.

Overall great! The only comment I would make is there's a lot of jumping around to new versions of the projects and on one hand, this is helpful for practicing the things we've learned, it makes it a little hard to completely connect the dots from one aspect of the course to another. For example, it would've been super helpful to see how the ingredients many-to-many relationship would be applied to the dishes-reviews project we had created in the previous section. But otherwise, great course!

Hey, i really liked your course and it helped me a lot to get started with vapor. Though i am missing some really essential things like validations, how to handle user authentication with JWT. It would be really cool to have those topics covered as well as they are really essential. Also if you have time please do a topic about different deployment options like Heroku, Vapor Cloud and via Docker and Digital Ocean :) That would be really cool :)

I really enjoyed this course. Mohammad has managed to present a lot of information in a very short but clear to understand format. I Would recommend this to anyone who is starting to learn Vapor 3. Not a critique, but something I personally wish for future content additions would be the topic of users with registration, login, logout plus some Authentication. Keep it up Mohammad!

Awesome course! I was able to dive into Vapor 3 quite quickly. You explained everything nicely so that I was able to follow along well, and covered the basic functionality we need to know to get started as full-stack developers (at least when coming from iOS apps) :) In lack of "homework", I sometimes paused the video to implement what you said you were going to implement next and then continued watching after I was done. This was a great opportunity not only to try and test my knowledge, but also see small differences in your implementation as compared to mine. Also, I would highly appreciate if you could add a little more in-depth functionality to the course. Or: create a follow-up course with more features. The course was very well done and presented in an easy to understand fashion. The only thing I would like to see done differently is a more in-depth explanation as to why certain decisions are made when implementing the returns in the future endpoints. That is the only past I still find confusing.

The structure of the course was very good meaning it started with no distractions and straight-to-the-point explanations and become more advanced over time while keeping it very easy to understand. The way you talk was also entertaining so it wasn't boring for a second. I hoped the course would be like this and in fact, the course was as I hoped, I didn't waste any second completing this course! I hope to learn more from you regarding Server-Side-Swift with Vapor and eventually also other things!

Perfect for starting out to learn backend development using Swift. Lacking how to do frontend stuff though, but he said he will add it later on like his older courses in vapor like Vapor 1 and 2 which includes the Lead template for the front end development. Pace is a bit slow, I had to use 1.5x or 2x to speed up. Course is very straightforward, easy to follow and brief.

Hello, the course is really nice, the explanations are simple yet important and interesting. The pace is very good. However I would point that this is not a "mastering" course, there is a lot missing in the course, this is a basic course, for example the "update" in the database was not included or handling files, other Vapor modules etc. Hopefully the course gets updated and becomes a real mastering course.
