I found the “Microsoft 365 Power BI Report Builder – Beginner Level” course very valuable and well‑structured. The instructor explains concepts clearly, the pace is comfortable, and the course provides a solid introduction to building reports in Report Builder. It’s an excellent starting point for anyone new to the tool. The only improvement I would suggest is adding more hands‑on exercises or full report‑building tasks. Additional practical assignments would help reinforce the material and give learners more opportunities to apply what they’ve learned. Overall, it’s a strong and highly useful course that I’m happy to recommend.

The instructor explained the material extremely well. His presentation was very clear and concise. The information received and the lessons learned on report building was valuable. This course has helped me to identify many features that I did not understand prior to taking this course. With the knowledge I obtained, I can now build more robust reports that will hopefully help me to get a promotion.

Great class, pacing was spot-on. Lessons were pertinent and applicable to work life. The only thing keeping it from 5-stars is that it is starting to show it's age. As Microsoft does, some of the screens changed so had to 'interpret' what was going on and find out the 'new' way to do it. Especially around adding datasources and datastores.

WOW. A beginner's course with exactly what a NON-BEGINNER needs to hit the ground running without all the unknown misconceptions workers who blow off such a course course unwittingly carry. Lots of focus is placed on using this tool as a company report solution provider. He anticipates the gotchas you will run into in that role and includes solutions for issues you're destined to run into as that resource. Besides the gnarly hair, Eric has thoughtful content, a well organized presentation, and articulate delivery. I almost skipped this "beginner" course, but quickly determined it already saved me time and frustration. If you watch this, your colleagues will get a two day head start. But I'm pretty sure you'll leap pass them pretty fast.

Good & light overview of paginated report features. Instructor seems to know his stuff and enjoys teaching it; giving tips on some unexpected problems a beginner might face. Some of the content, though, was a bit light e.g. the expressions section was quite basic and could have been beefed up more.

I recently got Power BI Report Builder and Desktop. I am very experienced writing SQL and was able to tinker around with PBIRB last week for the first time; before this course. I was able to produce an invoice but it was all trial and error but it did turn out pretty good. So far I learned several things in the course such as how to connect and use the Power BI Service which is not intuitive how to access and use it. Also learned about how to set report properties. So far so good.

I recently completed the "Microsoft 365 Power BI Report Builder - Beginner" course on Udemy. Overall, it was a good course that provided a solid introduction to Power BI Report Builder. The instructor did a great job of explaining the basics and walking through the essential features. However, I found that there was a lot of repetitive content throughout the course. This repetition led me to forward through videos quite often, as the same points were being reiterated multiple times. Additionally, the course lacked quizzes or interactive elements to reinforce learning, which would have been helpful in retaining the material covered.

I am using MSSQL and PostgreSQL. Initially, the content was a bit confusing since it showcased a pre-built RDL. However, later chapters provided a clear, step-by-step guide, which was very helpful. I appreciated the thorough explanations of definitions and theoretical points. I hope this review helps. The course does what the title says: "Beginner" course. Its intended for people with little to no experience to Report builder tool. There is allot of theoretical talking at times which could have been better used to give the viewer practical lessons to use the tool to build reports etc. Overall worth it if you a complete newb to Report builder tool.
