The instructor should allow the user to follow along by slowing down a bit. In the areas he is typing, it doesn't allow the user to follow along. Also, there is an error in the explanation of Section 18 Data Cleansing; it is not displayed, but is edited when adding the query from a text file into Power BI.

Good summary with lots of helpful hints and tips. The course left it somewhat open ended as to whether or not to follow along - this felt like it left some gaps. The instructors answer for the final assignment was also generic rather than addressing the case study in question. Therefore while content was good, I would encourage examiner to focus on the interactive element of the module.

By far the best Power BI module I have taken to date. I am a self-taught model developer and I am always stuck wondering how to optimize my models. This course got me to implement the great tricks shared while learning on my latest model. This course is one that I would recommend to someone who has a little bit of knowledge in Power BI as it shows you how you can make your work clean and concise. I enjoyed every lecture. Enteprise DNA team thank you for this great learning experience.

Strength: Knowledgeable when it comes to PowerBI, specific examples Challenges: Less talking, more doing by providing assignments and quizzes, the middle and second half of the lecture needs more work. Conclusion: Best to review and see if those I mentioned align what you need to work on.

Exactly what I've been looking for as more of an advanced user. Many of these course are focused on the basic functions of the tool. As someone who is self taught and is familiar with most of the functions of power bi, I wanted more of a view of what is the best way to build out the model, so that it is efficient and versatile.

Learnt about transforming and modelling data in terms of best practices, theoretical knowledge and most of all practical usage. Followed all the exercises alongside with the instructor (but at my pace) to really understand them. Recommend this to anyone who really want to get hands on practical exposure in learning PowerBI in terms of Data transforming and Modelling

Great showcasing of the possibilities of the power query features. The advanced editor was an eye opener. However, for the parts which envolved DAX were not explained well enough - I was missing some background knowledge / a full overview

I am giving 5 stars for this course on DNA. These guys (especially Sam) knowing what are they doing, on very good and structured way. Even tough I am familiar with Queries and Transformations, this way or approach is very elegant. Sam doesn't use M-language (or very scarce as I understood), but the way of using additional tables, those calculations got me like "damn...". and still getting the same thing I would say. Highly recommended to those who are ready to get some good intermediate stuff in Power Query =) P.s The only I didn't like, is that on some important videos older versions of PBI were used, and sometimes the results or steps were hard to follow to get the same result (if you are following it by yourself as I do), without any notice or something. But I am not giving less than 5 stars because of the quality. Looking forward to take another course of you guys. Regards

This course has covered many good points in organizing the data model. I found the supporting tables and intermediary tables sections to be very useful for me. I aim to revisit some previous reports I have created and rebuild the data models using the techniques in this course to reinforce what I've learned.
