Course Description

In this intermediate level tutorial we will be focusing on the process of creating a creature that could be used in the Games Industry. Starting from a simple concept, we will create a base mesh for our creature, move into sculpting, and finish with Retopology and UV layout. The tutorial focuses heavily on sculpting fundamentals in ZBrush, as well as the necessary tools to create a game resolution mesh using Maya. By the end of the module you will have a game resolution character ready for the texturing process.

It's a little above my level, but I'm really enjoying it and learning a lot.

It is easy to follow

By Marc Portet on 3/1/2018

Awesome tutorial, I'm only halfway throught and not really following the exact character concept at 100% precision because I wanted to get a more personal approach to the model, but the advices and anatomy details are amazing and I also now feel really more confident in Zbrush thanks to this course. Also the instructor explains the tools really well and I enjoyed every moment of this course for now.

Everything is great! very in depth, but would love to know shortcuts he's using etc.

Потому что мне курс понравился. Автор понятно показывает свои действия

A little on the fast side but other than that, easy to follow along. Clear instructions

By Jacob Sorheim on 2/18/2017

Really good for just a general workflow of a model. There were a lot of things that were done behind the scenes that you don't see. Also, he never seemed to fully combine everything that was done. I would have liked to see him combine the mesh, UV map, Retopo, and a done texture map all on one model. Never really learned how to turn that 8 million poly model into a more manageable sized model but still keeping all detail.

I know is of the essence but the sub titles of the keyboard command or short cuts will help given the speed at which the presenter is moving at.

A nice, fast moving, tight focus guided process of creating the described model. 3D Coat is also included for a bit, in case you have that program like I do. Very useful if you're wanting to learn 3D model making. And you can also slow it down when necessary and of course watch it as many times as one needs, whenever one needs.

Solid teaching, Steady pacing and attention to form and detail. Definite recommend.
