Literally the worst Lecturer I have ever watched. 90% of the lectures the tutor barely explains what he's doing and makes countless mistakes along the way. Think you have to be a mind reader to get any value out of this course. Complete waste of time.

I finished my education in 2017, and much of it was in music. Annoyingly, my teachers refused to teach me theory, and finally learnt it in my last year of high school for a few weeks. This was helpful as not only a memory refresher but I learnt new techniques to decipher and remember which notes go where. Thank you very much! Would recommend!

I had very vague notions of music from my childhood, since all my sisters and brother played the piano. I have been acquainted with music since very young age but I never learned it. Here I am and I feel this is great. So I thank the instructor for this free course.

Fantastic! Easy to follow, the instructor gets right to the point, using the limited time of his free course to convey enough infomation to get the uninitated started. But even a more experienced (albeit mostly self-taught) guy like me can take away useful bits and look at some basics from a different perspective. Superb audio and pro video quality, too. Thanks a lot for taking your time and sharing your knowledge, Tomas.

well at first i didn't have any prior knowledge about music theory .But after i watched this course ,i knew the basics of music theory , for example how to draw a minor or major scale ... well all i would say it was really helpful for me . thanks you. Fouad Hlihila From Morocco .

Great little course for beginners. I'm relatively new to music theory but have dabbled in it here and there, I was able to learn a thing or two and how to apply them instantly. I really recommend this for anyone starting off. It is a bit of a teaser where it only gives you the very basics and then sells you the full course but i got that for super cheap on a sale, so your mileage may vary

Was not too bad although it is hard for me to explain this, but others might disagree with my opinion. But I don't mind this course but I think that your explanation should be more clear like maybe adding some more information to what your explaining,( I don't know what the actual problem could be, but I feel as though something is off with this series. Or it is probably just me.) Listen, good job! I appreciate the video since it was free, and I feel people should take advantage of anything that is free especially on Udemy. Saves some money and can have good information. So if anyone reads this comment, please just the video a try and doesn't hurt to see if you get anything from. Thanks again for the video and keep up the work.

The teacher has a firm grasp of the content; And though sometimes cryptic, the instructor stays on topic and often re-iterates what He is explaining in a different way; Providing more insight. A very good basics intro. - Le Attol (He could add a bit more surrounding pinpointing major and minors though; For him to re-iterate their locale and rationale would be prudent).

A solid overview of the basics. Learned more about music theory in an hour here than in 8 years of band classes. If you're coming in with zero knowledge of music, you'll need to be willing to look up a couple definitions, since he doesn't define every technical term. Otherwise the info is good and easy to follow.

For a free sample beginners course this was very well put together and to the point. For me it was a refresher as I've a music background but have neglected it for about 30yrs. I've purchased another music theory course here but found it to be more university level with a load of complex info I really didn't need. Perhaps if I were getting back into playing classical piano yes but not for EDM . I will be purchasing his other more in-depth course. My suggestion is this. If you are a beginner and want an instructor who will not over complicate things here's your man.
