OAuth 2.0 in Spring Boot Applications (Udemy.com)

I think this is the most in-depth OAuth Course that I have ever taken because the level of details and clarity is what I expected and also what I received from this course. I wish this course will update itself with the newer version of Spring Authorization Server as of 12/2024. Thanks & Regards, SSD.

I really really really enjoyed this course. I really like Sergeys approach to teaching. You can tell he is a techy who really wants to understand the concepts he is trying to teach and has gone through alot of trouble to transfer that knowledge in a way thats useful in the real world without cutting corners. Doing this course made me an instant fan of Sergey and I have since bought another course of his and will probably buy more in the future. Thank you Sir

simple and easy to follow , whats happening at each line is explained very well, care has been taken very well by trainer while explaining concepts and implementing why such implementation/concept is required, trainer has a very very good hands on , its a must buy course for any one who wish to jump on spring security with OAuth2 flow

From my point of view, all the chapters about Spring Cloud Microservices, Eureka Discovery, Load Balancing etc. is way out of topic for a course about OAuth2. On the other hand, other aspects are missing. E.g. Some information about OpenId Connect. It is mentioned, but never explained. (E.g. in the logout endpoint). Also, acquiring an access token through Postman gets really tiresome after the third time. And it is repeated hundreds of times throughout the course. You should configure Postman to automatically obtain a token after the second time you do it manually.

It was good, but would be better if English captions were present. Auto caption is worst had to turned it off. Should have taken at least one example with database.

Good content but so badly taught ! Content is relevant and very useful but the teacher behave like he's teaching to childs: -spends time explaining even simple copy and paste, -repeat himself a lot -explain even basic concepts every developers already know All this make some video longer than they should be. It would also be nice if we had more demonstration with Restful app. Still some room for improvement but overall it's a good course. Content is good, it shows in details all the oAuth2 process and config. I enjoyed the theorical parts too.

This was one of the best courses I have taken on Udemy! I have learned a lot about Spring Security and how to secure my application according to industry standards. This course is also a great introduction to Spring microservices, something I have been interested in for a while now. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to get known with Spring Security & microservices, and I will for sure recommend it to my work colleagues. Thanks a lot!

It was my pleasure to take this course, I learned lots of practical information about OAuth2, how it works, what are the different authorization flows/types, different authorization servers and I could test it in the practical examples. This was my second course from Sergey and I really like his approach and detailed explanation of theoretical things as well when coding examples, this is really important and good when learning new things. I had great experience during the course and even I wasn't completely new to OAuth topic I have now much better knowledge about it.

It is one of the best Udemy courses. Sergey explained every topic in detail and all the code works without any issue. The unique advice from my side would be to apply an update for the videos using authentication configuration with Facebook and Google, they are outdated, the consoles/options are not exactly the same.

One of finest course. It covers not only OAuth 2.0 only, but also some high level overview of Eureka Discovery Service, API Gateway, Load balancing as well as a glimpse of micro-service architecture. If you are looking for an standalone OAuth server up and running that serves as an auth service for several micro-services than this course is definitely for you.
