RESTful Web Services, Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and JPA (Udemy.com)

Although I am a Computer Engineering Student (23 years old), I supposed that I was a backend developer until I started to this video course. Turns out, as I kept forward, My lack of knowledge was too obvious. But now I can clearly say that I am a real Java Spring Boot backend developer now. I tried my best to learn and understand everything in this video course. Wrote so many comments, watched particular videos over and over. And here we are. I appricate to you Sergey. You have become my hero.

The course content is good but unfortunately the content is very outdated, so if a student is attending this course while using a new version of Spring boot like 3.0.4 in my case, the student will have a hard time keeping up with the examples used in the course, because there are a lot of changes happened since the date of creating this course till now, especially in spring security part, there are dramatically changes between the used version throw the course and the current version, a lot of methods and classes are deprecated.

I really loved this course! I learn all I wanted to learn and much more. I recomend this course to all those that want to learn how to write and deploy a RESTful API. It would be great to update the course to the new version of Spring and the related libraries. Aside from that, this course is excellent!

The course is great, content is very relevant and instructor is straigh forward, explaining very well the material and using great examples throughout the class. The Role explores a wide variety of topics and working on an implementation side by side, helps with the learning. My only gripe with the course is the depth of explanation. While explaining methods and annotations a little in depth explanation of what spring does behind the scenes and how it works will help us understand and debug our code better. But on the flipside, the instructor is very prompt in answering your questions so feel free to fire away.

Sergey is 100% the instructor we need on Udemy. As a person who has bought over 20 classes on Udemy i can say with confident that none of the intsructors i bought a course from keeps constration around what is actually important and is direct to the point as Sergey is. It is important and more mind activating to learn concepts because you can actually see things happen, rather than just learning simple codes and rest is left up to. What Sergey does is that he takes his time and attention to details to make sure that non of his videos pass 5-8 minutes that is because clearly doesn't like to waste us students time.

This a Great Course. Sergey is an excellent instructor. He is very diligent in his explanation of concepts, course is very well structured for someone like me to learn and grasp everything he presents in this course. This course is beyond my expectations 5+ stars and Global Award to Sergey if there is one from Udemy, if there isn't then then Udemy should have it specifically for Sergey. I'm doing his other course on microservices that I got through 75% is also excelent course. From my personal experiance I highly recommend all Sergey course.

The course is quite full about RESTful Web Services with Spring Boot. It's very helpful to me with the project I'm working now. However, there is still one problem I have not been able to find the cause. That is I can use credentials file to implement Email Verification Feature with AWS SES in the AWS server. General, I'm very satisfied about this course. Thank the instructor very much.

I am glad I took this course. I am a beginner so I got to learn a lot from the course. The explanation for each of the concepts is very clear for beginners like me. I would recommend to take this course to get good knowledge on building restful web services. Sergey is very responsive and helps in resolving the issues I had while taking the course. One feedback is that I could not find the code for few of the modules. It would be nice if it is uploaded in the repository.
