I gained confidence in my ability to take good photographs! As a beginner, this course provided a thorough explanation of photography basics. It also covered intermediate and advanced concepts and techniques that will challenge me to grow as I continue my practice of photography.This course will also be an invaluable baseline reference since there is no way to remember all of the tools, techniques, and tips discussed by the instructors.I appreciated the instructors' casual approach in the instructional videos. I gained a healthy respect for their photography talent and their ability to convey their expertise in a knowledgeable, professional manner.

Taking the photography masterclass has helped me to understand better both the technical and the artistic sides of photography. Now, when shooting photos, I take into consideration rules and/or metrics that I had never thought about before, which make my photos look better. Deep dives were obviously technical, but still understandable. The section about photo editing helped me to change my approach to post-editing, which I had discredited before. The demonstration parts were awesome, especially those concering specific types of photography, like long exposure or aerial/drone photography. Thanks to this course I now know what to look for in cameras, in photos, and in the photographer's approach itself, and what may change depending on the situation, type of equipment or the goals I'd like to achieve in final photos. there could have been more information about the how the camera works. overall the pace and understandability is maintained. There should be lectures on colours. Specifically teaching about what are hue, saturation, contrast so as to make fundamentals clear. Pls bring a new section where you discuss on famous photographers around the world who have unique style. Chat on what u think about their photographs, what u find unique in their photography. From India you can consider the likes of Raghu Rai, Sudhir Shivaram.

At first glance, this is a great course so far. Easy to understand with nice simple explanations. Looking forward to the rest of the course.Now half way through. and still loving it

This is 24h of super valuable content for a beginner photographer like me, ranging from the basic photography knowledge to actionable tips I can immediately practice with my camera. It's impressive how I could really see the difference in my photos in such a short time, and I am sure a lot of practice will do the rest. I look forward to learning even more in one of your other courses.

All I needed to learn to understand basics and beyond. Now I finally know my camera settings and to what lenses should I upgrade.

This is an excellent, cost-effective and very comprehensive course and I'm so glad to enroll in the class. Even though I don't have any equipment more than my iPhone 7 Plus, I've learned so much from the basics that I might choose to have a DLSR or mirrorless camera in the future. Really enjoyed the course. I particularly enjoyed doing the assignments and then having to submit them and getting the feedback comments. Most of the lessons I found that I needed to complete, with only a few that weren't relevant to me, like starting a photography business. I would like to see Photoshop Elements 2018 added as one of the Photo Editing lessons, as this was the latest up to date editing software available for me to buy, and had purchased before the course. Overall, Very Good and I have recommednded it to some beginner photographers.

Like the Pro notes, graphs and your web site!on 41 I noticed you state three ways to change your depth of field but you show us 41 Change your Fstop to a faster setting2 Move your subject away from the background--while you maintain same distance to subject3 zoom in, ie. change Focal length--while maintaining same distance to subject4 Move closer to subject, same Fstop and Focal length but your focus will need to change and the DoF will be smallerI also noticed in a couple of the LR or ? editing lessons you did not crop first...like you say you always do first,I think you may be trying to teach us a workflow and you deviated, ok with me just pointing it out. There are no Visual Guides or Supplemental Materials for the editing sections.
