Procreate Dreams: Complete Animation Masterclass (Udemy.com)

This original price is 75 dollars. For 2 and a half hours that is a bit much. The instructor gives a brief Gesture explanation on how the Procreate Dreams works. Which is nice, but I feel that people who are completely new to Procreate’s gestures will have a hard time with that. There are more in-depth explanations for free on YouTube. If there is a huge sale, like how I got, then it is worth it. My second issue is that this isn’t a “Masterclass” course. This doesn’t going in huge detail in 2D animation. The title is sort of misleading in that sense. However it is a great “introductory course”. So, the best thing about this course is this: The teacher is clear and easy to understand. Her voice is calm and not overwhelming. So for the three assignments she gives feels easy and understandable. In summary I think this course is worth 10 dollars as an introductory course into how to start animating with Procreate Dreams. However, this is a basic animation class. Any animation program can be used for the assignments she gives.

It’s not a masterclass course. You can learn more than this freely on YouTube. She herself feels new to procreate dreams. not worth the money i have paid

Going in, I knew that this was an introductory course in animation, so I kept my expectations realistic. Happily, Siobhan exceeded my expectations with her explanations of the basic exercises, and the calming voiceover was a plus. While no major animation studio is knocking on my door with a job offer, yet, I’m feeling more comfortable with exploring this art form and seeing where my creativity takes me.

I vill develop here with the informaiton I have learned form you and I have a mini-series waiting for me with the script ready and I wolud love to contact you, sir, because this project is very important for me.

Ich habe vorher den Kurs von Sandra Süsser gesehen, der ist sehr ausführlich und sehr gut in kleinen Schritten erklärt. Dieser Kurs hier ist etwas geraffter, aber auch sehr gut. Wenn man die Grundprinzipien von Procreate Dreams schon ein bißchen kennt, dann kann man mit diesem Kurs super anknüpfen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Il corso è chiaro, spiega nel dettaglio tutti i passaggi da fare. Per esempio con l'esercizio di animare la pallina ti spiega la teoria dell'animazione in modo semplice e ti da gli strumenti con procreate dreams per metterla in pratica e animare una pallina che rimbalza in modo realistico dando molta soddisfazione.

This course is really really fun. Time flew by as I rewatched portions of the course, and worked on my animations for hours. I now have a really intuitive grasp of the software, and enjoy trying to make little cartoons.

Tutor has a clear voice and explains step by step without diverting from the task at hand. This is great as I have often found that the tutors feel the need to be conversational which diverts your attention and you have to continuously play back.

This course is wonderful! Siobhan’s explanations are clear to even someone like me who has no experience in animation. The lessons and projects build upon each other in such a way, that by the end I felt like I was actually accomplishing something. I highly recommend this class.

She explains animating concepts well. She also show her personal workflow for animations. The course also has high production value. I enjoyed the course. I would gladly take more courses from same author on more advanced animating techniques.
