According to the StackOverflow developer survey, Rust is the most loved programming language among developers, for the fourth year in a row.
This course teaches you:
to install Rust on a PC or Mac
the language basics like
functions
data types
variables
etc
the fundamentals of
flow control
complex data types
exception handling
macros
etc
advanced topics such as
memory management
ownership and borrowing
sructures and traits
concurrency
etc
practical applications of all studied concepts
plenty of projects to get you practicing the language
We will apply everything we learned through coding small applications to solidify what we are studying. We will go through all these topics and explain them in detail. We will also implement many coding examples to make sure you fully understand and are able to apply the concepts.

Excellent introduction to Rust. Particularly the section on Memory Management is crucial to understanding why Rust is trusted as a system-level language.

Overall the course is good as far as going over the language basics. Main reason for 3 stars - lack of any exercises, or projects for student to perform. The sections on Concurrency needs updating to use Crossbeam. The last three sections sections that covered 3 projects were rushed, focused more on the app than Rust language. Would have preferred if the projects covered interfacing to a DB, creating a webserver (that a low level TCP client/server app). Use of way outdated use of crate ("extern crate").

The worst part was projects part which has lack of explanation just rewriting code with another source - thats how we can't know real steps to implement the project. Another clue: it should be more information about working with data collections and its functionality (iterators/map/collect etc). But as a entry point to Rust this course is quite good one.

Nice course and fits pretty good for beginners, like me. Sometimes it's hard to understand what's going on, but probably it's because it's new language for me and author tried to cover not "Hello world" examples in pretty tight schedules.

All is well. In the User Input section the first piece of Rust code is introduced to the viewers. I would suggest to touch or or give a gist about the basic concepts based on the keywords or function names such as "use", "std::", match, Ok, Err, etc. Actually the complex concepts are simplified and explained. By studying the documentation at Rust website a developer can get an overall idea.

The theoretic part, covering all the basics, is pretty good. It is going forward at a reasonable pace and builds up nicely, all explained very well. Once the instructor starts with the projects, it gets really boring. The projects are kind of advanced (which I like) but the code is just written down as from a book with very little explanation or introduction to any of the new concepts and libraries which are used.

I really like this Rust Course! it's one of the best! It covers everything you need to know to get started in Rust. I also enjoyed the side projects such as the snake game. I would love to see more Rust courses from the instructor in the future, perhaps with some popular front-end/back-end web frameworks, Databases etc.

It was a great start for me even I have no experience in programming and knowledge.Easy learning and explaining well. Thanks to you.I am very greatfull

overall, it was good, but... - it is useless just to re-type codes that already exists on the slide, it will be better if the slide is to show the intent only, and showing the actual implementation with live code. - compared to other projects, snake project was done slightly better. it will be better if each step of the code and its intent explained, and tested, instead of just re-write everything from other screen.

Amazing course. I learned everything I needed to start coding with Rust. Teacher's communication is clear, and easy to understand. All the examples are good and valuable, and the projects by the end of the course are fun!
