It's a very complete course, covering the low-level aspects of the language syntax and semantics but building toward upper-leval app development including Kotlin's concurrency mechanisms and using it for mobile development.

Good course in general. Very complete, clear explanations. Small comment: the literal retyping of the example already given and explained in the presentation sheets is adding much (for me). Would be nice if you could give another example or just give and explain it once.

Je trouve le cours trop long. Chaque section a un "section objectives", un "section recap" et des "practice" en plus d'exercices, je ne pense pas que tout ça soit nécessaire. C'est important d'avoir des exercises, mais c'est redondant avec les "practice". De même, on voit beaucoup de slides avec du code puis le code est réécrit à la main dans l'IDE, c'est redondant alors je zappe jusqu'aux explications. Autrement, le cours est très clair, détaillé et structuré.

I bought this course to learn Kotlin from scratch and I am very pleased with the result. The course is a bit outdated, but at the same time it is as detailed and useful as possible for beginners. The teacher explains the material as clearly and in great detail as possible. Many thanks to the teacher for his hard work!

Very good structured and in depth course for those who start their career with kotlin. It was too detailed for me, because I already had a kind of "learning by doing" experience and only needed to enforce some theoretical knowledge. One minor suggestion is to remove "2023" from the course title to make it more honest - as I understand, it was created in 2019-2020.

This has been a very enjoyable course. The instructor takes time to explain concepts, there are many exercises which give an opportunity to practice and check your solutions. I had a very good time following the lectures. If you are a complete beginner, I'd say that up until section 36 you'll be perfectly fine. Section 36 needs an update and sections that follow introduce quite a few concepts that practically require another course. I'll be keeping an eye on other courses that this instructor has provided, i think that this is a very good value for money.

This was a great course with great instructor. I originally got this course as a reference. However, after going thru few sections I really liked the course and decided to finish it. The instructor is very knowledgeable and the exercises are very practical and useful. I really recommend it. I will be taking his other course on retrofit. Thank you

I loved the course very well. I was totally a beginner when I was starting this course. Catalin guided very well through out the course. Exercise part which is being included in this course that helped me a lot in thinking in my own way of solving the problems. I hope he makes more courses based on Android. Just go for the course who is really a beginner.

Great starting point for anyone wanting to get an all round view of Kotlin. It is long but worth it. I did the course already knowing my way around Kotlin and with lots of Java experience, yet there were enough gems to keep me interested

This course really does go from the basics all the way to a working knowledge of Kotlin. Lots of practice exercises are available. Production value is merely decent but the information taught is top notch.
