Complete FastAPI masterclass from scratch (Udemy.com)

As a backend course the explanations of how the code works is not nearly enough by the instructor, you are not designing UI so copy pasting code only teach the user to make this exact practice app that the course is making, but a good instructor should teach the concepts deeply enough so that people can make highly customized backend APIs, unfortunately the shallowness is the biggest downside of the course.

This is really great course. Highly recommandable. Everything is done one by one and goes to a large scale in a very attractive way.

It has been an amazing experience in going thru the lectures so far and experimenting with the power of FastAPI.

I think this class is really good if you are a junior developer. I have been using FastAPI for a couple of years now and took this class to have "something" to put as a certificate on my resume. The class is well organized and the projects are very cool. I'm just disappointed that the course is very opinionated. For example, I would have liked some MongoDB integration, some security with other frameworks than the default OAuth2 (none of the companies I worked for use it, they prefer to have their authentication via Keycloak or Microsoft AD - and this course wouldn't make it possible to understand how it works). Also I know the projects require both frontend and backend and that react is popular on the market, but the blog and the instagram feel like react courses on how to consume an API. In the end, the course is good for beginners but I find it a bit lacking as soon as you want to get into more details.

It's very complete and easy to follow. Stephan explains a lot of issues needed every day building apps. Thank you!

It's a great course and the final part is very useful for people who work with android. I learned a lot about FastAPI.

Good content and good explanations of the basics of FAST API. There are a few sections where I'd think the instructor could've had used some best practices. Nonetheless this is a solid introduction to FAST API with a very helpful example.

Instructor was clear, made only a few minor errors, and provided tons of useful information. He uses some unusual HTTP request methods, but it's easy to look past those and do things the way you want to. Could have been several separate courses, but bundled all together it's a great value.
