This course is designed to teach students an overview of SharePoint Site Owner roles and responsibilities. Students will learn to add and configure sites, how to create libraries and lists, and how to create and modify views. They will also learn how to create columns and customize them, as well as how to create and manage content types and create a document set. They will also get an overview of permissions and learn how to manage them. This course also covers how to enhance the site, such as using web parts and working with pages. Finally, students will learn how to navigate within SharePoint and how to change regional settings.

Overall a good course but I wish you were times when we could do assignments and in between tests throughout. Watching the videos was great, but actually doing the work throughout also helps.

This course has been good for providing a nice overview for how to plan sites from a owner's perspective, with a focus on good site usability. The section on adding each type of app was repetitive if you already knew how to create them, but the rest was very helpful. I liked the WHY to take an action versus just HOW to do something.

I am fairly new to SharePoint. This course helped me to understand the roles, permissions and overall structure of SharePoint as a site owner. The instructor did a great job breaking down the material into brief, easy to understand lectures. I gained a lot from the instructor's tips and explanations for what to utilize or avoid during the design or modification of SharePoint site(s).

The course had a lot of great content. I like that there were a lot of demonstrations with an actual SharePoint site. It really helps make the explanations clearer. So many videos and courses are people talking or screenshots, but seeing the instructor click around the site and the settings was helpful.
