It is a perfect match for me. I am not only a site owner, but also an admin. The information is very clearly presented and I am already noting some things to do or check having to pick up where an "expert" left off for a new site collection. I like the "sound bites" approach as it makes the information easier to digest and also affords easier stop points or going back to information or repeating, if needed, to better comprehend/retain the information.

The instructor does a great job covering a huge volume of SharePoint material. He explains the individual parts that make up SharePoint very clearly. I have a firm understanding of the basics and what SharePoint is capable of acheiving for the Site Owner and Site User.

Great resource. Instructor walks you through the foundation of the app and shows you how to use effectively and efficiently in an easy to understand, step-by-step process. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a better understanding of SharePoint.

It is a good training about SharePoint, in overall aligned to my expectations. As a suggestion for improvement, it would be interesting to review the sequence of topic. I think it would be better to start with User View (session 2) and then go to Site Owner (session 1). Of course, for those who are more experienced with SharePoint they can just skip the User View. Session 3 was a little bit repetitive for those who already saw session 1 and 2.

Reasonably logical path & clear explanations. Would have preferred the configuration information a little earlier. Some confusion between classic and modern versions. The difference between where O365 is now and where my test site is the differences were enough that I just couldn't follow. It would be really helpful to have an explanation and a visual map of the the architecture. Getting around the sharepoint is confusing because of all the redundancies.

This was an outstanding sequence of courses, and I enjoyed Dr. Jesperson's presentation style. At first I was a bit overwhelmed, but I tried out the various features and found them less intimidating each time. I will definitely be returning to this course often to review individual topics.

This course is awesome from a team owner perspective for part 1 of his series and highly recommended even though we have given it a 4 star. Unfortunately, he refers too many times to "if you do not see this or have access to this or you may not have access to this area you need to get with your administrator from IT." Example - with one of the most important parts lesson 67 content type (Microsoft's better directory as he refers to) if under advanced settings of the library "allow management types" is not ticked you cannot use any of the sections related to 67. Too many times, the default is not set correctly or disallowed and the lesson stops you in your tracks as you hunt down from a team owner and administrator perspective on how to activate those sections. Permissions were covered well but only from a folder, document and file perspective and not a global access perspective. I may have missed this step and will accept blame but there were other areas as well that either were grayed out or not visible until we located the permission set or added a user for permissions. We Spent as much time researching how to activate abilities to use features as did taking certain sections a few time throughout. in the beginning of each section there needs to be reference to such items as a simple tick box that will prevent such usage as well as a section devoted to global permissions to allow you to use the features he describes. Sharepoint is so permission based that one wrong setting will send you down a rabbit hole. There was more than once instance of his lessons where default settings out of the box are preventing usage of what he teaches. I would give this a 4.5 - 5 star review as far as content but lacks some very crucial administrative permission settings that need to be shown and addressed. This will prevent us from having to bang around in areas ticking boxes to see what may or may not allow us to even use features he teaches. Rather than always saying "to go to your IT team to get permissions" as people taking this lesson many times are the IT team or owner of the company and will need to know what it is that needs to be activated and ticked and where to go to do that. Serving as the IT admin that sets the overall infrastructure up you will find this lack of knowledge paralyzing. Yes this is a collusion risk issue in allowing a person to have control from 2 angles but the IT admin plays that role anyway and has that power so why not go ahead and show those abilities. Clarity and granularity of setting up new groups with roles tailored for folders or sites should be addressed in greater detail. In fact I think an entire section on permissions from a global access would put this course at 5 star.

I enjoyed the full course (even if it was told a few times the same parts) i did learn a lot in a short time and already (during the course) started making projects. the only sad part is that this course was made in 2016 (end of) and i notes that now (we are 2018) a few things have been changed (for the better) so i didn't always find what i was looking for where it was explained. this course is a good "how to" and i will recommend it to be viewed to people that i know would benefit from it. to be faire: i watchted it all in 2x speed so i had a very quick pace and i was flying through everything. the explanations was very well done, and you understand the possiblities it my apply. i hope they will make a few others about the new system called "flow" and powerapp because i did enjoy this one and i still need to be better at the two others. very will done! keep it up Regards Randy

I took this courseware to refresh my prior knowledge of sharepoint and it was a bundled pack (which looked like good value-for-money). Unfortunately there is a lot of repetition over the 3 courses (so I could have just gone for the site-owner course on its own). Once again, the course bundle looked great, as there was around 200 videos in the bundle. However, I think that many of the short/single videos could have been combined in to one larger video on related topics (add, edit, delete 'Item'). The video and audio production quality is great. The lecturer was easy to understand and knowledgeable on the subject matter.

Great course. I have previous experience with managing websites and I took this course and it helped me to be able to manage SharePoint server contents and web parts. The instructor explained well how to set up SharePoint sites and subsites.
