Songwriting Hit Mastery: Lyric Writing, Music Theory (Udemy.com)

I'm very interested in the course material. So, I'm just trying to take it in on first glance - hoping to develop my knowledgebase so I can publish songs I've written over the years.

This course was very helpful, thank you! I appreciate learning about the melodies the most! And learning about the business side of things to get set up from the start successfully was really important to know about!

I know little to nothing about music, but through AI music I've become interested to know how it should be done correctly and this course has given me a good insight to start my understanding, although some learning was still over my head.

So far, it's extremely shallow, it looks as if someone wrote the most basic ideas about the topic and found a semi-famous person to read them in front of the camera. There's really no intention at all to teach anything here, not to speak of diving a bit deeper than the absolute top surface.

This course is very useful with a large amount of information. The videos are short and more like a road map to develop step by step the necessary qualities for song writing. The instructor is clear and understandable and keeps you motivated. Overall i absolutely recommend it to anyone who is interested on the subject.

Very good explanations of text structure. Comfortable voice to listen to. I like what I've listened to and worked with. There's always room for improvement. I recommend this course.

This is an excellent course ! Very good and factual. I did not expect learning in such a pratical and easy simple way. Fantastic. Happily surprised. I have started writing back in 1994! Still Melissa's course helped me ! I needed to get back into the saddle as I took a long 10 years breaks from music writing. This course really helps not only for the normal basics but also to get in touch with the recent stuff in the industry. I found the Music Business part particularly interesting. It adds to the songwritting musical side, and brings so much needed informations to us. Thanks a million for your teaching and sharing all those valuable things with us.

I’m only a beginner in music stuff and wanted something that will help me improve my songwriting skills. This course gave me that plus more tips that I won’t be able to use until I become advance. There’s something for everyone in this course!

This course was so helpful. I am quite fearful of pursuing my dreams of being an artist, but there is so much information in this course, that it gave me some much needed anxiety relief. I’d love to one day pick Melissa’s brain! Thank you for making this course. Much love to you always.

I highly recommend Melissa’s course. She is an expert in her craft and has the skills to facilitate her wisdom in an interesting way throughout the course. Melissa uses a lot of accurate examples to make her point; she brings out a lot of good tips and references to expand our knowledge. One of the things I love about her style is that she encourages her students to find her/his voice throughout the process of songwriting. But more important, Melissa has the power to inspire songwriters to achieve their dreams: write from what we know with honesty. Thanks Melissa for this wonderful course. I know that with your wisdom and help, I will achieve my goal—to write beautiful and compelling songs.
