Songwriting in Logic Pro for Electronic Music Production (Udemy.com)

Really need a concise recall of learnings like all the core music production principles as to creating frequency layers and that at a portion , we cover the same chord in different ways using different instruments. Etc.. basically what I'm saying that instead of walking us through the journey, we need to first explain what are the principles and rules we have to stick by and what are we trying to achieve like when he says matching the chords "so that it fits"what does that mean?

Has improved my music production no end. Especially constructing beats in Ultrabeat and following the beat with drummer for fills. Although I am not a singer, as a writer the songwriting section was fascinating.

This is A Brilliant course on going from Zero to Hero in a few hours and creating your own Electronic beats and songwriting from scratch on Logic Pro X. The best part is the step by step approach of producing and writing music in front of your eyes while you model the techniques and create your own beat in real time. This is a No boring theoretical lectures but straight to the point taking action kinda course. I highly recommend each and every course by the creator.

Der instructor ist sehr gut und hat wirklich eine Ahnung von Logic, einen Stern Abzug gibt es aber für seine Aussprache, die teils sehr undeutlich ist, deshalb ist auch die schriftliche Übersetzung des Gesagten mehr als horrend! Kann man diese Übersetzung nicht wegschalten, das ist eine Zumutung, liegt aber wohl daran, dass das Übersetzungsprogramm den Instructor nicht richtig versteht, weil er nicht deutlich genug spricht, was für einen „Lehrer“ aber wichtig wäre! Ansonsten aber ist der Inhalt ok!

Course it is really great. I just bought some different courses from them. For me I received all answers for my questions about songwriting electronic music, mastering , how write music parts of different instruments and another things from this course. Very simple and clearly explanation. And you can see all full process making music step by step . It is really can help me about right concentrate my attention in the time. Now I know what should I do first , and what should I do in the end. I can make the plan in my songwriting songs and music tracks. I advise for everybody who know about songwriting in electronic music. Let's go and buy it.

I have been trying to find logic specific courses and this one has helped me greatly. I have played around with it for a while and this is a fantastic introduction. Most courses, books, tutorials and masterclasses really don't mention the things I need to know like what buttons to press and how many times to press them! I've only just figured out how to open the ultra beat interface for example and was wondering how all these DJ's were doing it and it was something as simple as double clicking the name.

At some points, I feel lost, because you are just going over some moves, without explaining. So for example you always start a new instrument via a filter/plugin (as I understand) - why not choosing from library? How exactly do filters/Plugins apply? I would have wished for a general introduction to all of the different settings within Logic Pro, incl. shortcuts or similar.

This is a great instructor. I bought the logic pro x program several months ago. It is a great program, but not easy to learn. I now only focus on learning drums from Ableton live, garageband and logic pro x. Because i naturally gravitate to drum sounds, I bought a Yamaha DTX 540k drumkit. So now, and probably this year, i focus on learning Ableton live, Garageband, logic pro X drum synthesis.

I feel it was above average and gave me a different incite to songwriting! I listened with an open mind an received good ideas and method that will enhance my songwriting, I am sure! I thank you very much. P.S. You have opened my eyes to Logic and its inner workings, so I signed up for your other course also!

This was a great course. Although I was familiar with most of the Logic features covered, I learned a lot of new techniques to use in my compositions. There was something new to me in each section so that was quite exciting. I particularly liked the vocal and lyrics sections. I usually stick to instrumentals. I found the thought of adding lyrics and vocals to be intimidating, but those sections make adding vocals approachable for me. I look forward to giving that a go. I also thought the Chords and Arranging sections to be quite inciteful. I thought I would see some coverage of the Chord Trigger midi effect in the chords section of the course. What actually was covered was good and allowed more room for creativity and exploration. Maybe chord trigger coverage can be added to the course later. I did expect to see a little more music theory covered in the course than what was actually presented, but he did referenced his theory course so I will look into that as a supplement
