This course is great value for money – money well spent. The course instructor delivers the subject matter and the course content in a clear articulate manor - easy to understand and follow. The explanations and the example demonstrations used is impressive. Although I have a vast experience in music production it is still refreshing to go back to basics and pick up valuable information along the way. You could never cease learning and always learn something new every day. Highly recommended – if you are a singer songwriter and want to bless the world with great composition and wholesome music.

I write my own lyrics and I know the chords in and progressions that I typically would want to use however, putting it all together is brand new to me therefore, this course is extremely helpful.

working alongside, its very hands-on. Love it!! I am learning so much to help me with logic and finding some neat online tools to assist.

This was an interesting short course on how to utilise AI in your songwriting. I mainly wanted to know how to make AI vocals, for which it served its purpose. The rest was just a bonus. The lyric writing section was interesting, as was the chords and melodies. I enjoyed Peter's sardonic delivery, particularly the cowbell comments. If I'd read the details beforehand, I would have realised that the arrangement section uses Logic 11. This is not a version I have, which is unfortunate, as the session players feature seems incredibly powerful. Also, I don't have the mastering assistant on my version of Logic, which also rendered this section redundant. For me, AI is a tool to supplement my creativity, rather than replacing it, such as providing vocals when I do not have access to a singer. The demo song is stuck in my head now.

As AI becomes a bigger part of the industry, this is a great way to understand & embrace it.

Really insightful, clear and easy to follow. I do think Ai has a way to go vocal-wise but could definitely be a good reference vocal for those who can't sing too well. This really helped with the music side as I don't play an instrument but can now confidently add new exciting chords/make my own instrumentals with the help of ai, thanks to this tutorial.

Very interesting course showing you a variety of different techniques and applications to do with song writing

By Aðalsteinn Örnólfsson on 8/17/2024

Very educational and instructive. Nice to play in this. But does not come to real songs. But you can help if you don't play poetry

Nice course for showing how to use AI for writing a song. It’s has engaging presenters and the videos have great audio and video quality.

Good for it's introduction to AI tools, but there are many more out there doing similar or different things eg Instacomposer, Instachord, Emvoice, covering multiple genres. Song structures and genres have not really been broached, so the scope for a more complete introduction to composition is still wide open. Because only a couple of compositions were considered in a familiar genre, the scope for developing ideas from imagination seems very limited, and there are loads of sites offering loops quite inexpensively for those wishing to just dabble and explore with idle curiosity. Many of the smaller sites offering compostional and voicing AI tools seem to offer rentware only. Also, the opportunity to integrate a bit of inexpensive Music theory and practice development has been missed, along with a very obvious source, just reading about it, such as Kindle. Overall, good , but covering a vast subject area with just one or two simple examples exposes a superficial approach , which frankly could have been simply more comprehensive and better balanced.
