Stephen Grider's interview course is a JavaScript-only walk through problems that come up again and again: string reversal, palindromes, FizzBuzz, anagrams, matrix spiral, then queues, stacks, linked lists, trees and a few sorts. It runs about 13 hours across 138 lectures and was last updated in February 2026. The audience is people who already know basic JavaScript and want practice on classic questions, not a full computer science course. More than 107,000 students have enrolled.

Reviewers like the diagrams, the clear explanations, and the way solutions are shown both iteratively and recursively, with notes on what interviewers look for. Two single out the Jest test suites, which let students check their own code, and one said they improved their unit test writing. Criticism is limited but specific. A three-star reviewer says setup details are skipped and lost hours getting Node and Jest working. Others say it needs more practice and does not cover everything. One recent one-star review calls some solutions unoptimized, such as a queue built on an array with unshift.

This course is a nice problem based approach to studying for DS/A. It feels a little bit like a guided run through some well-chosen (generally pretty easy) leet-code-style question. So, good for beginners.
I did find Colt Steele's course to be more comprehensive, but this one is arguably more beginner friendly
