I'm watching it right now, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it—it covers very basic and superficial topics, supposedly created by an expert. There's some pretty old content (like videos from 2016, 2020, and so on) I don’t see any integrated AI to help you create your own course. Overall, the content is pretty basic and simple—stuff you can find on YouTube or ChatGPT—it’s not even worth the small amount it costs

The instructor presents his experience very forthright which makes the material far more relatable. Additionally, the fact that he takes you into his world and how he has developed over time as an instructor and stays on point really makes the material more personal and feel possible. I also like that the videos are not just talkign head but actually show hands on activities. Very good course.

Amazing to the point, practical course. Phil has done his job beautifully. I give 5 stars for him. Half point will be taken away is because his assistant has not reply every Q&A soon enough (meaning some questions has not been replied for 4 months) This should not be accepted in a business world.

The course is amazing. I have almost 20 years of experience in teaching face-to-face courses. I took this course to help me to build an online course on one of my i-class course. It helped me with several aspects of the course creation and helped me with tips to promote the course. Two weeks after officially launching and promoting, it is already the highest-rated course in its area. Thanks, Phil for all the invaluable tips! I already started to create my second course!

Phil provided a lot of beneficial info but I felt at times a bit like he was tooting his own horn too much, ‘I did this and I accomplished that’ which can affect a student who is starting out’s self confidence a bit. But overall I think his heart is in the right place and he really wants to help people. Overall decent course, and it can inspire people to succeed in online course creation. The course was full of extremely useful topics. I didn’t have any experience in creating audio and video professionally and how to use professional devices in that regard. With this course, I got a wealth of knowledge about such things. Not only that, now I am equipped with the knowledge of how to create an online course and digital marketing, thanks to his personnel valuable experiences. Those were really helpful and encouraging for beginners like me. Phil explained everything about creation of online courses giving lots of examples from A to Z. The lessons were short and sweet. He is no doubt a very professional tutor. Only one thing I can suggest to improve this course is to include more exercises. Thank you very much Phil, for creating this exceptional course. The course completely changed my perception regarding what's realistically required to succeed in teaching online courses, and how important is creating your own audience, mailing list, youtube channel, and generally a whole marketing mechanism, even if you completely rely on Udemy for the income. The support in this course is excellent. Phil answers every question and is really committed.

I know Phil from his cool Youtube interviews, I learned a lot from these interviews, actually, more than with this course. Because there are real-life tips in his Youtube interviews especially from programmer instructors. I find some valuable gems in this course and noted all of them down to my notebook. However, I'd like to see more practical examples from different industries like programming, basic intro to screencasting etc. I know this course is not about that but a basic practical intro to screencasting and audio recording would be fine. Especially for people like who are shy on camera and recording because of I never tried it before. Phil is creating high-quality material so I'd like to enroll his another course about screencasting, voice-overs, script-writing (tips for non-native speakers like me who can't improvise on intent quickly when recoding the audios), screenflow features and tricks etc.

This is a good course which takes you through the basics. I like the fact that Phil started out just the same as everyone else and built his way up. This means Phil is able to share his personal experiences, including the things he didn't get right. This is a sure time-saver for novices like me! I took off a half mark because some of the assignments can only be completed once you have all the equipment etc. I think this should be stated at the beginning so if you are a complete novice like me, I am aware of what will be expected and will put some time into setting myself up so I can fully complete the course. I don't see the point of just recording a video, which will have obvious flaws, like sound quality and lighting - just to complete the assignments. Some of the assignments can be completed later, so I left them out because I wanted to get to the end of the course. Still a good course though!!

I have been watching Phil's videos on and off for the last 10 years now. It is great to see that Phil has 'made it' so to speak and that he is now taking time out after all the effort put in in the early years. Thought I would try to give online teaching a go (even though the good times may have past) and thus can always rely on Phil's videos for the super content, hence returning to this course.
