Great content from someone with obvious experience and the desire to share that knowledge. As an amateur musician and church band member, it’s nice to hear not just the music theory, but the desire to serve the Lord and the importance of our ministry and wanting to do it better. Thank you!

The value in this course, is being able to take simple techniques and build them into a band context. For instance, rakes are common, but combining them with quarter note "finger style" chord picking was something I had not thought of.

I like the approach of asking the right questions, especially "be on time" part, because that is my weak point. Also, I will bare in mind from now onward to .. listen, listen, listen and not make things complicated for the band

Dave covers a lot of critical ground in this course. All of the content is relevant to what one would actually need to be an effective addition to a worship team. The chord voicings are an important, unique element to a modern worship sound along with the other tips and techniques.

This is a very good match for me, its just what I was looking, searching and wanting to find. Very amazing that its hitting all the points I need to learn in order to become a better musician and more importantly, a worship team member.

Gtr isn’t my main instrument but I when I lead worship I am usually leading while playing gtr - the voicings in the capo section make it so easy to play in all the keys without bar chords - and it sounds better. That section alone is worth the price of admission.

It is impossible for me to open the resources provided by the instructor. As a beginner, these are definitely needed. I cannot see the correct finger positions to practice. Bummer!

He’s very detailed and speaks clearly so you can follow along and understand! I think he’s a great teacher, but there is a lot to learn! But he’s not overwhelming! Slow and meticulous is the key! One thing at a time! One step at a time!

As a church audio/visual tech--I've heard and seen many of the problems and successes mentioned in this course. The instructor provides a great introduction to the unique world of live worship and offers some wonderful helps in preparing and playing in a worship band with a focus on guitar. His section on capo and chord forms is worth the cost of the course. I just finished the section on the Nashville Number System--and am excited to convert over to it. He also answers questions in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this course.

I really like Dave's heart for God and his desire to share his knowledge. I'm learning a lot! Not only does he teach what you should do as a worship guitarist and how to sound better, but he also shares how to really be a part of the worship team. This course is definitely worth your time and investment.
