Course Description
This course is the third installment of the Complete Game Development Series and is aimed at covering advanced topics of Unity, and mobile game development.
Students will learn how to make a mobile project and set up the testing environment. The modular level creation workflow is then applied to build the level of the game and the lighting. Touch screen-based player controller, along with the camera viewing, and follow control is implemented first, followed by many gameplay systems like inventory, health, and damage system, generic team ID, AI perception, AI behavior Tree, projectiles, ability system, shop system, UI management, level management, and more.
The project focuses on implementing independent gameplay systems and making them work together beautifully. Many advanced C# features like interfaces and delegates are utilized to help improve the extensibility of the code as well as reduce code duplication, and dependency. Programming patterns like recursion, tree, and singleton, are utilized to produce cleaner code. Advanced Unity features like scriptable objects are introduced to achieve better data storage and retrieval.
The build processes to iOS and Android are covered at the end of the tutorial, and students walk away with a complete mobile game, as well as extended knowledge of Unity, C# and game development.

Course is talking about architectural part as well. Which is more important than teaching "just make it work" tutorial. It also teach how to maintain clean code with modularity with Architectural rules and Design Patterns. I Highly recommend if you are at intermediate stage.

Thanks for sharing this advanced course. The focus on the architecture part was especially valuable to me, as I’ve sometimes struggled to understand it on my own. I’m still in the middle of the course, but I already find myself eager to explore more Unity courses from Jingtian.

The teacher could benefit from more self-confidence, and some editing could help streamline the lessons. The videos tend to be longer than necessary, and while simpler concepts are explained in detail, more complex topics are not as thoroughly addressed. However, the overall content is excellent. These critical aspects of game development are rarely covered in most other lessons.

Excellent instructor. I purchased the entire course/game trilogy and have now begun this final chapter. I am looking forward to learning more about the game development from the expert.

The course is finally completed. It would be better if there was a data storage system. Anyway, I learned a lot from your course and look forward to the next intermediate and advanced course.

Great course ! I've learned many things new. The course is a whole new level when comparing with the series 2. The AI Behaviour Tree was challenging yet very interesting to learn. I always want to enroll to courses like this as it's more dive deep and practical than minigame courses. I rate this course 4.5/5 as the explaination was not clear sometimes.

Wow! There is an unbelievable amount of information in here, and the techniques used were phenomenally enlightening, if you can ignore small issues like inconsistent variable and function naming. It does require quite a few cups of coffee to go through, especially the section on AI Behavior Trees, but it's time and effort well spent.

Really enjoyed this course. Picked up some great ideas for improving my coding skills. Behavior trees and a lot of use of events and modular programming. Instructor didn't just show code also did a great job explaining concepts and refactoring code. Looking forward to future courses.

Superb. This is definitely not a beginner course, but if you have experience in c# this is a good one. There are a lot of great features in this game and a lot is covered. It's fun. Try it out, you'll like it.
