Matchy Wheel:
Matchy Wheel is the game you will be making in this course. It is an addicting game where your objective is to tap either right or left to spin a wheel 90 degrees which is split into 4 different colors. Balls spawn and try to get to the middle of your wheel! If any one get's to the middle the game is over. To eliminate these balls you must spin the wheel so the color on the wheel matches with the same colored ball, if this occurs you score one point. If you match correctly with a special ball you earn 2 points.

Hello, I am an app developer that works with the Unity3D Game Engine, Swift 4 & Xcode 9. I've published games on both the Google Play and Apple app stores. I currently have 5 apps on the Apple App Store and 2 on the Google Play Store.
I teach people what other instructors don't about Unity3D and iOS app development. COMMON ISSUES. Throughout my game development career I have gotten to learn quite a bit about what needs to happen in order for games to be published on both app stores. Sadly I had to learn these things myself but I intend to change that for my students by bringing them the information they need in order to accomplish what they want without having to dig through forums for hours or even days.

The course shows the very basics of the whole process which is really good. The content towards the end is outdated. If you literally have no idea what it is like for mobile development and does not want to search hours and hours on youtube; This would do. It gets your foot in the door.

The concepts are delivered clearly.

I spent a lot of my own time researching things I feel should have been covered in the lecture; i.e., such things as outdated plugins, error messages

I just finished the BallSpawnManager script tutorial (half of the course). Until now, i can say that he explains pretty well all the code and I appreciated the fact that he used DOTween (i never heard that before) and the idea of the game is cool for the tutorial purpose. So why I gave just 3 stars? Well, because of the lack (until now) of some explanations about the garbage collector (an argument SO IMPORTANT for a course based on publishing a mobile game). For example, teacher could use the object pooling to handle the random ball generation (a MUST HAVE technique to reduce the actions of the garbage collector, the first problem that everyone encounters when the game stutter on mobile). Another two things that I didn't like (but not so important) were: 1- the use of FindObjectofType (it's better to save everything in a list or array instead of using it); 2- The video quality is not so good. I will do a better review when I will end the course, because one of the main reason that makes me do it is to see the "marketing" part (section 5).
