Course Description
Have you ever wanted to create your own 3D game but didn't know where to start?
In this course, you will learn step by step how to create your very first game by making a 3D platformer using Unreal Engine 5, with no coding or previous experience required.
I will guide you through everything from downloading and installing Unreal Engine to building and packaging your own finished game. You will start by learning the basics of the Unreal Engine interface and how Blueprints work. Then we will build a complete game together, adding a player character, enemies, combat, collectibles, and level gimmicks.
You will also design your own level, decorate it with environment art, and add menus, background music, and sound effects to make it feel alive and polished.
By the end of this course, you will have a fully playable 3D platformer that you created completely from scratch and the confidence to continue making your own games.
This course is designed for complete beginners who want to get started quickly, have fun, and finish with something they can actually play and share.
All lessons are short, clear, and beginner-friendly, so you can easily follow along and create your first game in just a few hours.

I am enjoying the course and having fun creating a game. I would just say that the instructor needs to remember that we are beginners, there tends to be moments when it is too quick or he is doing something without explaining such as duplicating the actor.

This course is truly amazing. It makes you understand how blueprints work at an entry level but it is also challenging, it really makes you want to keep on learning. The assets provided by the tutor are amazing and his teaching approach makes the whole process really fun. Great support at all times as well! Really recommended if you want to start learning game dev with UE5. Thanks, Yahya!

This was a good lesson. Took me awhile to go along with the lesson since im on a laptop and was constantly switching between unreal engine and this udemy course. Ive always wished, learned, and wanted to create games since I was a child. I loved games, and played around with several video games where you create stuff and this was cool to do and to learn. I loved that I was able to complete this and see that I did create this even though my laptop has issues I found some solutions so I wouldn't be slowed down. Section 8 was the strangest because I was following along and suddenly I learned I was doing the course.. in reverse? (The X, Y, and Z locations were off from what I was watching.) and was still able to finish without it being a problem. (though I kept using the coin mesh instead of the coin interactable and having to go back to fix it...) Im glad I was able to do this. Thank you for this lesson and telling your patreon about it. Keep doing your best with your own games. 0=0b

Excellent tutorial. Only ran into a few problems. One of which was based on my using a Mac so the Packaging didn't work out due to issues with Metal. Only other thing that seemed noticeably missing from a "platformer" design was any "moving" platforms that go up and down or move side to side. Also noticed there were some additional assets like keys and doors that weren't used, so it's possible the instructor will add to the course and show how to do those things as well. Overall a really good course though.

First off, Yahya, this was a great experience. I've been wanting to make games since I was a kid, but it's always felt so daunting. I've completed dozens of tutorials for Unreal, Unity, Godot, etc. and while Godot got me the furthest, making a game still felt out of reach. I got the itch again and decided to try Unreal Blueprints. That's when I found your class, and I'm so happy I did. Your approach to teaching and demonstrating how to make a quick game in Unreal with Blueprints finally made it click for me. I can't wait to start prototyping some game ideas! If I may suggest a new tutorial. I'd love to see one from you on how to make different types of prototypes quickly (shooter, horror, etc.) to help with failing fast and finding what is fun before going all out on a game. Thanks again, I really enjoyed this class!

A lighting issue with the imported character left much of the character in shadow. Without a clear way to fix this, it was a frustrating experience. Update: After switching to 5.6 the issue was resolved. Thanks for the prompt assistance.

So far I am halfway into this course and I have to say that I am absolutely loving it and feeling the hearts like vibe. I have a about a year of experience on unreal engine and I am still learning new things here. Yahya is very straight forward with his way of teaching and he offers a fresh new perspective compared to other teachers I follow. I am more than content and look forward to my final work in this course.
