This course is absolutely fantastic. I am going to say why:

1. The Instructor was one of the actors in nearly every single film clip. This made me far more connected to the film

2. Numerous pieces of homework made me think about the films. I have posted my answers but it is up to other students to comment

3. This is not about cinema or acting but they all added quality to the course. The many studies quoted added depth to the analysis of depression

4. Famous films were referred to as well and that helped a lot

5. I also liked the full play shown - also written by the Intructor

6. The course is very long so plenty to watch and comment on and think about

7. I watched the Mk I version too and areas of that feed into this which is really great! Fascinating to see the film by the 17 year old Producer.

So, yes, this is a fabulous course.

WELL DONE UDEMY!

I thought it was more like having drama activities for depression relief not just reflections on some plays and movies. Sometimes I am lost in the very long lectures that I don't know where the educational part is.
