Course Description

The One-Stop-Shop course for Vagrant is finally here! Master Vagrant from the start with our one of a kind tutorial.

Developers around the world know the grueling process of having to set up, deploy, configure and destroy environments depending on projects! Vagrant is the brilliant solution for eliminating the costly and time-consuming cycle of creating and destroying environments with each project.

Vagrant is an open-source product for building and maintaining portable virtual development environments. These virtual systems are cost-efficient to use for developing your project and then disassembling it when you are done. It is also a great way to manage and coordinate large projects, that require multiple technical stacks and developers.

Vagrant also makes it easier to set up, download, deploy packages, and even configuration by allowing developers to download prepackaged operating systems that include the required tools, libraries, and even services. And, if the prepackaged system doesn’t include everything you need, you can simply create your own virtual machine and convert it to Vagrant. That’s not all! The best part about Vagrant is that it allows you to create multiple customized copies for all the developers that are working on the project.

Let’s step into the future world of programming by mastering virtual machines with Vagrant in this amazing step-by-step breakdown course. The course has been created with experts to help you learn the complete ins and outs of Vagrant. While, this course will start at the very beginning with Vagrant, it does have a few expectations. You are expected to have an understanding of virtualization including related technologies such as VMWare and VirtualBox. You are also expected to know their way around Linux and its file system.

The course will breakdown Vagrant into simple and easy to understand sections and will cover everything from introduction to installation to Vagrant basics and functions, as well as network configurations, clustering, Vagrant boxes and so much more.

At the end of this course, you will not only have the theory of Vagrant, but also be confident enough to start using Vagrant for all your projects. So, what’s stopping you from stepping into the future of development? Enroll Now and let’s enter the virtual environment!

In Nov 2024 this course is still amazing. I have worked with several vms, where I created lots of vms which is lots of headache. Is good to know how to setup manually process, Once you're good with manual come here for automation with vagrant brilliant.

Something I will definitely be using to study further in DevOps but will also be using it to test my ansible and puppet configs as well as actually get some major devops services up and running to use to test instead of on our LNP or staging environment

The Course is a decent one and spreads the essential of Vagrant, Well clarified everything ventures by step. This is a remarkable course.

The course gave me an good, clear and compact explanation of the topic. Some lectures the trainer just reads the slides he presents. Other lectures lacks some creativity on the presentations of the information. But this doesn't to be detrimental to the good information.

Good start to use Vagrant. But some lectures interrupted without appropriate end, some scripts don't work and I had should fix them by my own. Too long time for response on Q&A questions. That's why I rated this course by 3 stars.

Muito bom esse curso. Rápido, objetivo, pratico e esclarecedor. Foca apenas no virtualbox, mas vale apena. Seria interessante ter uma nova versão do curso abrangendo Docker e AWS . Recomendo!

only reading the the content given in slides, not properly explaining and narration is also boring, though the instructor has good knowledge and grip regarding the topic

Instructor is clear and covers the matterial in depth. Based on the material, it is a good introduction to the material. Nice walk through of converting shell script to chief solo script

This was a top notch class. Prior to this course, I knew nothing about virtual machines or vagrant. I was using XAMPP and I think virtual machines with vagrant are a superior option. I uninstalled XAMPP on my computers and replaced them with virtual box and vagrant. I watched most of the videos multiple times, not because of the presentation or the presenter, but because of the content novelty and how much knowledge I was being presented with required repetition to make it stick. I have a DigitialOcean droplet and had only a rudimentary understanding of how everything was working. My understanding improved immensely (with a little supplemental reading/activity) and I didn't even take this course for that purpose. I like to use php and ajax methods (and an interest in forms & mysql) which meant I needed a practice server environment (it was XAMPP) but I'm slowly gaining an understanding of how servers work in general and this course really helped me conceptually. I plan to go through the course at least a couple more times because I think there's yet more value that I've not gained. There is some content that's beyond me and I'll likely never use but it still contributes to my conceptual understanding. Heck, it even improved my command line skills (which were basically non-existent). In all, I learned/improved my knowledge of virtualization/virtual box, vagrant, command line, and servers.
