I'm new to videography. Since I'm finding this new hobby as joyful, the content I'm learning is really interesting. The material is simple to understand, straight to the point, and I'm happy for American accent dialog (foreigners are sometimes difficult to understand). Plus for the price, I'm happy to find this level of depth without attending some expensive online college program.

Solid course for beginners to go through. Im more of intermediate level and their was a few useful key points to take away that was not consider before. But If I was a fresh beginner this would be a solid start.

The class overall was good and informative. However with having 0 experience with film there was a handful of terms that I would have to stop and go find to be able to keep up with the class. A terminology section would be extremely useful. The only other con to the class was its very unorganized when watching the lessons. Mitch would comment at the end of a video saying "here shortly you'll see this in better detail" however that was watched several videos ago. Again the class overall was good and I learned a bit of info.

This is a great course, specially if you have some or none idea of videography. It will help you to understand the basics and much more. Now, if you like Phil Ebiner as instructor, don't expect much from him in this course since his participation is 5% of the course. However, Mitcheel Bouchard put his heart and soul in this course and did an amazing job sharing his knowledge. Even thou, chronology is not the best in a couple of sections of the course, photoshop specially, the course is worth watching and you can learn tons from it.

I got so much out of this course, so thanks. But... As videographers / editors, I feel they could have edited the course to be a lot more concise. Some of the interviews / chats were exactly that, and lacked purpose. A lot of the live editing sections didn't really explain the methodology behind the editing process, and rambled for a long time. Some of the sections seemed in the wrong order (for example, the card shoot occurs randomly at the end, and not between pre- and post-production. And I really have no idea why there's a dummies guide to Photoshop in the middle of a video editing course. Overall, I did enjoy this course, and benefitted a great deal, but my advice to anyone watching this is to watch what feels relevant, and skip the rest.

The presenters know their stuff and I can visualize what they are talking about. I now have a new appreciation for the filming and visual arts. Now when I look at a film or movie, I am beginning to notice the very things they are discussing and this knowledge has given me a new appreciation and outlook when I am viewing ads on tv as well as movies. Thanks guys!

There's a lot to learn in this course, it has lots of useful information, but I think the instructor didn't walk his talk, the tips about making your audio consistent throughout the videos, I felt that the instructor wasn't really doing his 100% on this course especially on the photoshop part, There's still a lot that needs to be taught in great detail with explanation also if the title is "Beginner to Pro", I think it should be changed to "Beginner to Rookie" Most lectures are only above average, some are average, Except for the commercial production part, wherein the instructor really did an EXCELLENT job at teaching and we could see he gave a lot of effort teaching and making that section

This course is very in depth and easy to follow along with so far. I have a lot of experience with photography, but almost none with videography. The instructors have done a good job of explaining the difference between the two

I have had 12 years in the business meaning I learned off some older curriculum however this was a real eye opener to me. Some items I was tempted to rush over however seeing them through always brought a new angle I had never considered. I guess it's safe to say that you are never too old to learn something new. The course was well planned out, it catered for various levels and as well threw out some challenges. Easy to follow along as well as apply my learning to active projects. Highly recommend this to anybody looking to freshen up their trade and catch on to some modern trendy output. A big appreciation to the team that put this together.

Very good course,it came up to my expectations and I learned really a lot about equipment usage and shooting procedures. I yust suggest adding a section on filming with a smartphone and one about drone video. Last but not least in section 20 (END) I would have appreciated a short video message by istructors rather than a blank page.
