Very good introduction to HTML/CSS because it's simple and real-world content. This is a great technique in addition to learning how PhotoShop can be used to create wireframes. This is part one of a 2-part series taught by Geoff Blake and I think it could stand alone, but when combined with "Applying Design To Wireframes with HTML5 & CSS3" it really teaches you a quick easy way to design sites. The only feedback I would say is they need to update the course to use modern vscode. The style of writing css is more difficult to understand but vscode would make it easier. So, if you are familiar with using Emmet in vs code then you're ready to take this course.

I liked the enthusiasm in the trainer's voice which made the learning more interesting and also the pace of the course is fairly good. Not too slow or too fast. My only disappointment with this course is the trainer has not included the approach with which he came up with all the dimensions. If only that addition could be made too, then I wouldn't mind rating it 5-stars.

I have been working with web design for a bit of time, but have struggled with the initial layouts. I stumbled on the concept of wireframes instead of layouts and found this course. It was exactly what I was looking for. The idea of creating the framework and ignoring the design (fonts, images, etc) is brilliant! Would love to find more courses by Geoff, rather than listing by Stone River eLearning.

Excellent course. I highly recommend it to others. I'm giving it five stars because the instructor is knowledgeable, speaks clearly, is organized, and imparts a lot of valuable information. My only disappointment was that he calculated all of the dimensions in the layout beforehand and did not explain those dimensions or his process in arriving at them in the course. Even so, I was able to make all of the instructions work, and the course was excellent practice with html and css. If you're a beginning or intermediate coder, the course will advance your knowledge.

This is a great course in wireframing. The course delivers on all of its promises and puts the learner in a great position to start wireframing for their needs. The course is a port of a course on the Ten Ton Design website. Because of that, there are no quizzes nor are their projects for learners to do. I feel this would have enhanced the course a bit more. Additionally, the course creator doesn't interact with learners that are taking the course. That would add to the overall benefit of those taking this course. The course overall is excellent.

I wanted a better understand of wire-framing from both a technical and practical approach. This course provided both. It was great to learn that I really did not have to purchase and learn how to use a new application. The instructor was very prepared and gave simple and clear explanations. He showed step by step how to accomplish the tasks described in the course. He also has a great sense of humor which keeps the material from being dry and boring. The video quality was great. I could easily see all the text he was typing and sound quality was great as well.

It can be very frustrating to try to learn about a concept such as wireframes on the web: lots of different definitions of words, different concepts, incomplete information. This course was wonderful because I now have a consistent understanding of the subject. I'm hoping the next course on web design will leave me in a like frame of mind. Thank you.

I really enjoy this instructor's videos. This particular course isn't quite as comprehensive as the "HTML5 & CSS3 Site Design" and "CSS Floating Layouts" courses, but it's still very good. I did ask a few questions throughout these three courses that have yet to be answered by the instructor, but given it's just a few days into the new year, it's possible he's on holiday and will answer them at a later date (hopefully).

Videos was good, sound was good, speed i think was good for beginners. There was few good tips what you can use especially when wireframing or just not having all content yet. Overall it was good course if you are not looking for scaling wireframe website.

I had a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and no idea of wireframes. But now as I complete the course I feel confident of making a great wireframe mockup. The teaching is simple and interactive. If you keep coding along instead of just watching it become more fun. All in all good course and would recommend it for sure. Thanks Geoff.
