Glad to learn something new today! It is an advanced course - covers some functions you are fimiliar with, but if you work with long documents or documents with repetitive actions it is a very informative course. Covers topics like Building Blocks, Field codes, Quick Parts as well as how to make navigation easier in long documents that is not covered in other courses. My only critique would be that sometimes the presenter deletes for example 'Continuing section breaks' but does not explain why he does it and if it should be done. All variations on functions are not explored. One will have to play around to see all the options available. Thanks for a great course. Very informative.

I consider myself to be at least an intermediate level user of Word, if not into advanced but this has hit on a couple of items that I didn't know existed in Word. Happy to find these and interested in what else will appear before the course is over.

Is there such a thing as 6 stars? This was great. You deserve as many stars as possible. Your delivery was very clear. I've been teaching Word for 19 years on an introductory level and I was quite surprised at some of the subject matter in the lessons I didn't know existed. I learned a lot. I will utilize what I have learned by sharing this knowledge with my students.

Excellent course! There are some so-called "advanced" courses that waste time by going over the basics, which shouldn't be necessary. This instructor avoids that and presents short, focused videos that clearly and concisely provide just the right amount of instruction and make it easy to drill right down to the information you need.

Ed is very easy to follow and understand. He obviously knows what he is talking about. I would absolutely take another course with him. My only somewhat negative comment is that I don't think we need quite so many examples in an advanced class. I think in a beginner class it would be appropriate to show an example for each thing, but at this level one or even two examples of how to do a particular thing is plenty.

Learning experience: Provided good instructions for advanced features. I sharpened what I already knew and learned about new features I didn't even know existed in Microsoft Word. The videos are short and to the point. Overall very satisfied with this course. Instructor: The instructor was engaging, friendly, clear, and concise. Improvements: I downloaded the folder of exercises, so I could practice as the videos played. But there were no instructions telling me which exercise to use for a particular video or lesson. I had to squint at the screen to see which exercise document the instructor was using. A Word document that briefly explains which exercise goes with which video would be helpful.

I really liked the pace that they were going with and I never would have thought how easy managing a document is once you know the advanced commands. I really enjoyed this course and the instructor had a good speaking pace. I do wish there would have been a bit more exercises.

Very personable presenter. The Content is set out in a fashion that is easy to follow. I especially like the way the presenter is on screen whilst talking and keying inputs, and is then looking over to the content displayed onscreen, as if it is the same content you are looking at. Nice and clean presentation technique.

The advanced course on working with Word is what I've been looking for. The instructor gets right to the point. Demonstrations are clear and easy to follow. If you know the basics of Word and feel that is good enough, you might want to rethink that belief. There are features in Word that are useful for the typical writer, but we never knew they existed. If you're in college and writing papers, then this course is a must.

This class was informative and delivered by a lively and easy-to-follow instructor. 2 suggestions: - create test exercises after each section to test retention - consider rearranging the topics to mimic the MOS curriculum, most of the material is covered already anyway but not all prospective users would be able to tell that. I would gladly pay more for the course for these features ...
