Sean Fowler
Hi there my Name is Sean Fowler and I have been a 3D Freelance artist for over 10 years. I graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelors of Science in Game Art, which pretty much means I am specialized to work in games, be it prop modeling and textures, character modeling and, straight up to animation cycles in maya. You could say I do enjoy a lot of the disciplines in the game production workflow. I am very passionate about what I do, and I’m very committed in learning new things everyday. I wanted to find a way to give back a little so I felt this would be an excellent place to start.

It is a very good tutorial with quite a few gold nuggets within. Some parts are bit slow, the author is bit too slow on pace to get ball rolling - I am ready for the next step in his creation process, I do not care for the perfect cut or a slice, my time is in short supply, a more summarized pace would be welcome. Nevertheless I would wholeheartedly recommend this for new Zbrush users looking to learn the process, not so much the tool.

Excellent course. I think the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is even though I wasn't following you 100% which you mentioned early on I would've still appreciated more advanced warning as to why you were making certain decisions with your sculpting in the videos earlier on. Other than that, I learned a tremendous amount from you and truly feel like this helped me step up my sculpting game!

Absolutely fantastic beginner course for anybody who knows how to navigate the software and is looking to take the next step. My favorite part is although I am following a tutorial, my piece looks very different, and that is definitely the intent. This is the first time that I feel like what I am creating is my own, as I am just applying techniques learned in real time and making my own adjustments/changes etc.

Definitely a good match! I'm fairly new to ZBrush, with this being my first course in hard surface modeling. Easy to follow. Inspiring. Good tips on watching through a video before working through it. I watch a few at once to see where they're taking me & if I want to take a slightly different approach or create a different look. One difficulty I'm having is in hearing the instructor - his voice is quiet and the sound quality seems low.

Very clear style.

I was not very seduce from the begining but the more the course fo on, the more you actually appropriate the numerous hard surface technics used. Indeed the fact that up to a certain point no more technics is introduces but rather different way to mixing them together to creat a new technic is amazing. At the begining Sean introduce concepts then he take you into mastering them by repeating them and mixing them to creat new possibilities. I really liked it.

This looks very professional form the get go..

This course is very thorough and covers a multitude of ways to create hard surface objects. Sculpts that seemed out of reach now feel very approachable and that is due to the repetitive nature of some of the processes, suggestions of ways to use the tutorials and the insightful instructor. I recommend this course.

So far it is good, but the course focus too much in just one tool. He could show us different methods or different approaches to solve the problems
