This course is very helpful me to start from scratch and Karthik You are amazing to explain everything. I follow you on youtube and learn most of things from you.. If I search for specific things to learn from youtube and give ExecuteAutomation option first. Thank you for creating courses and keep spreading knowledge in community.

It was in my Todo List for this year. Course has covered all touch points . eg. Test Automation, Integration with Plugins, Docker and CI tool. It was delightful to understand the Cypress Tool with theory and with actual implementation of the Topic. Kudos for lovely complication of various Topics. Thanks Karthik. Wish you happy new year in advance.

Sometimes it goes really fast through stuff and on other moments it is really slow. But overall a very good training. I would love to see some more handons testing and making scenarios, finding selectors, making functions and so on.

A good overview of core Cypress functionality. One or two small sections of the course are broken / outdated (specifically parts of the Docker and Percy sections, which I've received and given solutions for respectively in the Q&A) and Karthik isn't always the most articulate / comprehensible in English, but overall it was definitely worthwhile for a relative beginner like me.

Excelente course! I knew Cypress a little, and this course made me to learn a lot of new stuff in a short time. Very good approach and examples, indeed. The tutorial of how to handle a table was the highlight of the course, in my opinion, it reduces a big problem for automation in a simple use case. The main part I think that is still missing, and I hope that it will come soon, is further CI/CD and how to work with Jenkins. Plus, I think that some extra videos about how to use components that are commonly present in pages should also be recorded: how to use select() for dropdown items, how to handle date pickers, how to work with more complex filter windows (in those cases that there can be lists created dynamically depending on how many items of that kind are present) , etc.

Not as detailed as I would have expected but I suppose that with this being a new platform the instructor did the best he could. There were often references to other courses the instructor has done with him making the assumption that you have taken them which I did not find helpful. I would have like the instructor to provide more examples and use cases e.g when talking about reading and writing from files.

I am impressed how fast, easy and powerful this framework is. It is well explained with a lot of examples. After going trough all the course I found that there are some disadvantages of using Cypress . There are problems with different plugins (e.g. Docker on Windows), no backward compatibility (with the "Halloween" plugin), can be used only with Chrome browser

You don't learn the tool with this course, only getting acquainted with some options of it. Too many things in lectures, which take time, but do not relate to necessary information, like each time switching to IDE is announced as if it was something outstanding. Examples could be prepared better, so that we don't hear each time, that tutor doesn't want us to see his password. No exercises or quizzes. I would offer not to waste time on this course, but go and read Cypress documentation.

I almost gave it a 1 because I hate when "Execute Automation" pops up in the middle of the video. It's distracting and annoying! But since the content of the course is good, I decided to rate it 5 stars. But please, consider removing it from the videos. We already know you are teaching it. You don't need your brand's name everywhere!

Karthik has an extensive experience with automation. This course explains in detail how cypress is working and it also provides a number of advanced tips. So far for me it was useful to get the tip on: - how to use .parent() to access sibling non-uniquely identifiable action elements in a table. - how to run the tests from command line in Chrome. - when the then command is evaluating, - etc..
