The course was challenging because it made drawing a conscious action not just a raw activity The course has immensely help me with the concept of drawing. I enjoyed the point perspective, 1,2. And tree 3 point perspective. I am still struggling with 3 point perspective but I will get it with practice

Matt is an excellent teacher. The course is very well structured and anyone can improve their fundamental drawing skills by following the course material. I have learned a lot and made great progress. I bought more of Matt’s courses since I really like the way that he teaches. It makes me feel encouraged to move forward one step at a time.

Well, the reason i attended this course at the first place was that i somehow managed to change my field of expertise in a way, and get into the facianating and creative world of Graphic Design. And actually Drawing was always a kind of a weak point in my overall design skills... And as we all might know ... it is not a must these days to be a good drawer in order to do fine in The Graphic Design field, but it is definitely a prominent advantage though, So I took this course in a kind of a really non- obligating fashion or approach.... But the way Mat, the instructor, conduct this course and his amazing approach toward teaching : giving the students really all what they need to know in order to significantly change their attitude toward drawing and quite straight forwardly improve their skills ... those reasons made me have no choice but to follow along this course and finish it... with lots of unnecessary pencil strokes and a quite intense use of the kneaded eraser... eventually we can say that we made it but in my own pace though.... Thanks Mat for allowing us to aquire such precious skills in such an important field

Matt is one of those teachers that can convey a concept, no matter how complex, in an easily digestible way. His teaching style makes it a joy to learn with him. He is constantly encouraging and the lessons are more powerful than they first appear. Evidence of this is when you compare your skills after completion with where you started. This is a truly effective course in drawing foundations. The importance of a skilled and gifted teacher can not be underestimated and, for me at least, Matt has everything it takes to bring you to a new level of skill. Thank you Matt for exceeding my expectations.

I really admire the details of this course and did enjoy and learned a lot . Drawing is my hobby, But after taking most of Mr MATTS video lessons, I have turned into a mini artist. All my friends think my drawings are so real, and must have learned from a Art Institute, Makes me feel so happy. My learning institution is Mr Matts on line video instructions. I salute you SIR. Not a bad course and Matt has an easy way of teaching and demonstrating concepts, but I felt that some assumptions were made about my abilities and knowledge so that some excercises were frustrating and demoralising. For example I didn't know how to get a good approximation of proportions until over half way through and I didn't know about using the weight of the pencil rather than pushing too hard until lesson 13. Having said that I enjoyed the course and it has improved my drawing and my observation skills.

Excellent course. Very well structured with clear explanations and demonstrations by Matt. It took me a lot longer than 25 days to work through the exercises in the course but this is not a criticism, more a reflection of how helpful and enjoyable the exercises are and that they are worth re-visiting and adapting. Good value for the money.

Matt is a wonderful instructor. He simplified complex objects so that we could follow him as we learned the basics. We learned the importance of shading, light, one, two and three point perspective. We also learned about different materials we can use in drawing. Highly recommend this course for anyone that is willing to spend the time and effort.
