A great course that I’d also recommend from time to time as a refresher. Phil covers a lot of useful information in short video clips and gets straight to the point. I’ve already been applying some of the techniques subconsciously, whilst others have motivated me to put them into practice in future photo shoots. Personally, I was hoping for more unfamiliar, new material, but I’m still very happy with the course and will revisit it from time to time. Definitely worth recommending. Thanks, Phil! I hope to come across more of your content aimed at already advanced photographers.

Took the Intro to Photography as I was travelling around Australia several years ago. I was blown away by how easy it was to improve my photos but also to complete the course at my own pace, since I was out of range of any internet for long periods. Excited to see what I can improve further.

Great tips and tricks for taking photos, how to make them interesting, and briefly, how to edit/the importance of editing to improve a photo that was taken. Recommend to anyone who wants to become a professional photographer, or just your average person who wants to improve their photo taking skills!

Good course explaining the creative aspect of photography. It was very helpful to take this course after the more technical ones explaining how to use the various features of digital cameras. These are tips that you can use with any sort of camera, including point and shoots and film. Recommended for anyone who wants to take photos worthy of a family album.

Buen curso, son conceptos que ayudan a ampliar tus conocimientos fotográficos, ayudan a tener un panorama más grande de lo que realmente se puede hacer con la fotografía. Me gustó la variedad de ejemplos, pero más que poner sólo fotografías me habría gustado una explicación más práctica de las diferentes técnicas.

This is a great course, i really enjoyed it. I think i learned a lot, but then i just watched the videos, thought, yes that's great - and didn't really do a thing. So what might be a great addition is an assignment after every section to really try out what you've learned. Of course, i am a grown person, i could just do that, but i tend to be lazy, so assignments might just add a little more commitment or engagement.

This is just what I needed! Very practical exercises and ideas to take my photography to the next level and skills to work on. This course was not just theory but very practical. I mostly enjoyed reviewing pictures throughout the class with you and hearing your critiques and feedback. Thanks Phil!

Really good, there is nothing better than analysing photos of others to improve yours. Maybe the quality of the sound could have been better but that doesn't alter the quality of the content which was really helpful!

This was one the most inspiring photography courses I have ever taken, I am almost sad I already arrived to the end... It is very well structured, divided by topics (such as composition, framing, lighting and so on). Per each topic, Phil shows examples of photos of similar subjects but shot in different ways, and explains why one gives a "wow" effect and the other doesn´t. Many times looking at my photos I thought "Nice, but there is something I don´t like... and I don't know what it is". Thanks to this course, now I know how to improve. Thanks!!!
