Advanced Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG (Udemy.com)

This course is good overall. I have taken Dmitry's other courses (Beginner Java, Beginner Selenium/TestNG, Advanced Xpath). Among all of his courses, this one was the most difficult to get on a productive learning path. This course is getting long in the tooth, not having been updated in several years. I spent a significant amount of time in the beginning of this course acclimating to the differences between Selenium 3 (which this course was authored during) and the latest Selenium 4. Among the issues: browser drivers are handled automatically nowadays by Selenium, Webdriver waits have different syntax, Firefox binary is deprecated. This course was also filmed using Eclipse as the IDE. For those of you more familiar with IntelliJ, this takes some getting used to. The course still has good content, and as Dmitry even acknowledges, Selenium and TestNG have not changed dramatically in the last few years. I'd still recommend this class for those who have taken his earlier classes. Just beware there will be an adjustment period. If you encounter problems, check the Q&A threads. If not found there, Dmitry is always responsive and helpful.

Fantastic course. Learned a ton of stuff. I would suggest updating the Headless section, as phantomjs and htmlunit are kind of deprecated at this point, as Chrome, Firefox, and Edge all run headless now. Also they are all configurable the same way and you don't have to do anything fancy to make Firefox use the options; just addArguments like all the others! It's tough to keep everything up to date though, and almost everything else was terrific and definitely took my tests to the next level. Thanks!

Amazing course. It had all the topics I needed. There are some topics on section 6 that are outdated but you can easy found tutorials over the internet and looking at the question section of the lecture. I used linux for this course so I was used to search alternatives for installation and configuration of some resources, which is ok, but for this reason I don't know if everything worked on Windows OS. Finally I suggest to add a more completed example of usage of the extend reports on section 6, since I have found that in many jobs the expectation is that you know how to create these reports. That's all from my side, thank you for this helpful course.

A very good course with lots of good content. It is mostly straightforward to follow & learn within the bubble of this course. I think you really do have to know Java if you are to take the concepts away from the course and use in real world projects. Some of the concepts were a little difficult as we got on to sections 4 & 5 as they were a little more complex but I think that's possibly down to my lack of overall knowledge. Aim to repeat course to improving learning. Dmitry was very good tutor and always quick to answer any questions , no matter how silly, and provide multiple answers. Recommend this course.

It was a very good and clear course. The topics were well explained, with lost of examples. At first it was hard to follow up with the instructor, especially in "Advanced Selenium Interactions" section, but it becomes easier and easier and it comes naturally to write a lot of code. I would advise taking some time in order to understand the concepts. Thank you Dmitry and happy testing! :)

This is the third course I have taken from Dmitry, and I really like his way of teaching - very straightforward, concise, and easy to follow. I began as a total beginner in automation testing but after taking his courses on Selenium WebDriver for Beginners, Xpath Locators, and this course, I am confident that I have enough knowledge to go into automation testing. Planning to take the rest of his courses also. Cheers!

Information-packed, and to the point! I was able to follow along although I am still not very familiar with Java, but if you know Java, this should come much more easily to you. If you took Dmitry's Basic Selenium course, this course definitely moves at a faster pace, but it's efficient, and personally I liked that we were reviewing but not typing out all of the code together in the video (although that was much appreciated in the basic course). This course really builds on the foundation of the first video and gives you practical and useful features. I'm very excited to try them out!

I changed my rate, I rated it previously with three starts cause i didn't like the facts of just getting the code and a short explanation. From my point of view it is better to build code together, does not matter how much easy it is. But at the end it is a good course, you can easily understand it but probably there are some times i would like to get more about why we are doing what we are doing, why the use of certain class, interface, method, etc. I am happy to say that thanks this course recently i got my first job as QA Test Engineer

Good advanced course does not waste time on the basics as these are assumed covered elsewhere. Good overview of essential points.
