Ruan Lotter is a Filmmaker, Editor and VFX Artist from Cape Town, South Africa. He has directed and edited several short films, internet commercials and music videos over the last few years. In 2007 he started experimenting with Adobe After Effects,3dsmax, Maya andPFTrack to name a few of the applications,and never looked back.
He currently works as a VFX Artist and Editor at Zebra Worldwide, doing post-production on international commercials and video projects.

R for rotation
S for scale
T for opacity
G for the pen tool. Click on the last part of an incomplete "trail" to pick it up again.
Drop shadow is under Prespective effects
Tint is under Color Correction
You can Pre-compose to send imported images into editable compositions that you can stack on top of each other in your main comp to create simple animations.
Alt-drag click to adjust timing of keyframes.
You can create Bezier curves by clicking the handles in a keyframe path you make.
