Course Description
ASP.NET Core Blazor is a modern web framework from Microsoft that allows developers to build interactive web applications using C# and HTML, without relying heavily on JavaScript. It is part of the ASP.NET Core ecosystem and is designed to make web development more productive and approachable for .NET developers who want to build rich client-side experiences.
In “ASP.NET Core Blazor: The Big Picture”, you will start with a clear and friendly introduction to Blazor and understand where it fits in today’s web development landscape. The course begins by answering the most important questions: what ASP.NET Core Blazor is, why it exists, and why you might choose it over other Single Page Application frameworks. This section helps you build the right mental model before writing any serious code.
Next, you will explore the anatomy of ASP.NET Core Blazor applications. You will learn how Blazor WebAssembly applications are structured, how they run in the browser, and what happens during startup. You will then compare this with Blazor Server applications and understand how the server-based hosting model works, including the request lifecycle and real-time UI updates.
As the course progresses, you will dive into core Blazor concepts such as components, component composition, and reusability. You will learn how Blazor components are built, how they communicate, and how they form the foundation of every Blazor application. Finally, you will learn how data binding works in Blazor, including one-way binding, two-way binding, and event handling, which are essential for building dynamic and interactive user interfaces.
By the end of this course, you will have a solid conceptual understanding of Blazor that prepares you for building real-world applications and moving confidently into more advanced topics.

Ervis Trupja
Hi everyone! I'm Ervis, and I'm thrilled to be here at Udemy guiding you through the world of building apps by coding along.
My passion for programming is fueled by a strong foundation in mathematics and data structures. While I'm a .NET developer at heart, thanks to the vibrant Microsoft ecosystem, I'm a firm believer in continuous learning and constantly expand my horizons by exploring new languages, paradigms, and ideas.
Outside of teaching, I work as a software engineer and founder. I'm currently building Reslug, a URL shortener, QR code generator, and link-in-bio platform built on .NET 9 and Azure. A lot of the patterns I cover in my courses, clean architecture, EF Core, authentication, multi-tenancy, come straight from problems I solve there day to day.
When I'm not coding or recording, you'll find me lost in a good book or exploring a new corner of the world. Travel and reading keep me curious and feed how I approach problems.
Excited to build alongside you and turn your programming goals into real, working software.

Ervis is an amazing teacher. I have taken several courses here on Udemy and this is one of the best explained courses I have taken. Fast and to the point which is what I like. I bought his other courses as a refresher. I hope he does a full Blazor course with both models (Web Assembly, and Blazor Sever) more in depth, building real world projects. This is a great intro! Thank you

Perfect!.. describe every Blazor components and a very smooth way, meaning it's taking you hand by hand to the core of Blazor.

How to describe it? It was like a movie trailer, a teaser. A 10k mile high view. Barefoot water skiing behind a rocket powered speed boat. If you have knowledge with razor or MVC and are interested in Blazor this is a good teaser. If you never wrote a web page/app with razor or MVC this might just scare you away from attempting any of it. That being said, with a little html/css/razor/c# under your belt this looks like a good way to avoid learning java-script.

It is a decent overview of Blazor. This course would be better if it built a small application with you. Like a To Do List that allows you to add, check completed, and remove an item from list.

some things aren't matching how they currently are. such as the code in program.cs and the files found under network
By Abdi Minovi on 8/6/2020
Given that the course was meant as a high-level introduction to Blazor it was in line with my expectations

This is definitely one of the BEST courses I've taken on Udemy. So much good information in such a short period of time. I can't believe it was free!
