Course Description

In this course we will take a look at the two most popular mobile games and re create them using Unity and C#.

The games we will be recreating:

  • Cut The Rope ( This is our introductory game, we will recreate it mostly by using the built in Unity components, so that you get a bit more comfortable with the engine.)
  • Flappy Bird ( We will learn how Rigid bodies behave and how to create the illusion of an endless runner. )
  • Color Switch ( We apply all that we have learned so far to create our final game, and get it published to both iOS and Android.)

We will then deploy these games to our Android device, as well as our iOS device using xCode.

You will learn why xCode is very important when it comes to developing for the App Store.

Learn how to earn money with free games using Advertisements ( Video Ads ).

Finally we will show you how to publish these games to the App Store and/or Play Store.

Dragan Neskovic

Hello everyone, I'm Dragan.

Since I was a kid I dreamed about creation, about making something happen, making something alive and remarkable, something that will last forever.

As video games were my biggest passion, inspired by incredible physics and graphics back then, I started creating my own. Through my life I worked with many studios, as a freelancer and group leader, and also as both programmer and game designer.

During my game development timetable I worked in Unreal Engine, Game Maker and Unity 3D. Currently, I primarily use Unity 3D as it suits me the best if I could choose. As I've already been through a lot during my game development experience, I'm ready and glad to share my knowledge with others, so that is where I decided to make courses.

Very good course. Explanations are great and simple. This course is better than others I have, lots of other courses are either not complete, too long, getting too boring, or instructor fails to teach important things in the course. This one is just plain and simple, videos are not too long but still, everything important is included. Good Job Guys.

Basically, the important parts of the games' mechanics were taught but I was also hoping for complete clones of the games. Explanations are direct to the point. Lessons are easy to follow.

instructor is very good at teaching and this is amazing course and practice for making 2d games. The only weak point is it has only two different game tutorial if it cover more details. It absolutely deserves 5 star

Very quick to yield results - pretty fun course. Goes pretty quick so good to have some previous tutorials under your belt, but so far so good. Tutor changes a quarter of the way in, which was a bit distracting.

By Sai Chaitanya on 1/11/2018

the course was good but at last, the implementation is not satisfactory.......Because in flappy bird game pipes are overlapping, and in color switch color-changer and obstacle is overlapping.

This is a good quick start to making games in Unity. I'm almost finished with the Color Switch clone section, and everything is up to date and works well. There aren't a lot of explanations for why particular things are being done, either from a programming or a Unity engine perspective. So if you're an absolute beginner, this will be a good intro to get you started, but not the best way to learn about the Unity engine, and how it relates to making your own games.

I have not finished yet but it has been fantastic till now. Everything I watched I already know but It boosted my confidence.

This course is so good I am begginer programmer and after this I understand everything with 10 mins of course I learn same thing that I needed few hours of tutorials.

By Damon Pelser on 10/1/2017

The course was definitely a good buy. It provides a very good and strong starting point for mobile 2D game development. The lectures were easy to follow and the work felt meaningful, Overall I'm happy with it !

Would be great if the mouse was visible. I'm 4 videos in and already struggling to see what you're clicking on or dragging something to, often I need to rewind a few times to find out exactly.
