The course was very well structured and all steps were explained very well. It was a lot of fun to go through the workflow together with the tutor from the creation of the sketch to the finished graphic. I will certainly use the skills I have learned in my daily work. Thank you very much for the great course!

I just think that it went a little too quickly. Ok, it assumes that the student has already previous knowledge, but it could be a little more attentive to the needs of beginners. I think that the teacher could propose another course - as short as this one, which is good - but this time, considering the interests of beginners. It is overall a good course, and I do not regret buying it! Thanks!

This course show you some useful techniques. Rafael is very good on his job and you can see a great piece of illustration. It would be more clear if he add used shortcuts (for a few seconds on the screen). But I like it anyway ;).

The course was very helpful in understanding the right work flow for creating a character in Illustrator. Detailed and easy to follow. I would love to learn also what will be the best way to export the ready parts to work in animation programs so this method could provide final assets for animators.

I don't understand the creating an anchor and it staying in place. I emailed them and never got a response. Everything else was easy. It's a good little video

The sound was a little up and down in places but overall it was very interesting seeing somebody create a character from scratch and what goes into that. I have personally learnt more about the pen tool, shading, making masks & clipping and texturing. All of these things will help me with my current project so thanks a lot :-)

Really excellent course and nicely describes mobile game art creation. This course follows nicely with the other course by this author, Adobe Illustrator for Mobile Game Art - A Beginners Guide. The other course is great for explaining ways to set up and use Illustrator for designing characters and game objects, while this course covers these concepts a bit more and describes ways to create posable characters so we can animate them. Really enjoyed it!

This course is absolutly the best lessen for anybody who is willed to learn how to work or act with Illustrator Comic Art. Everybody who can speak just a little bit of english can follow the red line and figure out how to create his own designs. I started with the first course of this series and was able to create my first real personal stuff. It helped me a lot. Now, after watching the background course, this one is much more special and showing some more tricks how to overthink and act on your designs. I really have to say thank you for creating such a perfect tutorial-series! It helped me a lot to figure out how to create my sprites better, faster and more efficient. I will go forward trying to spend more time creating my sprites and even more in the way you teached it and it would be really fun to see more tutorials from you. Once again, thanks a lot!

Another Great course from this instructor! It was really cool to see how to break down the character into pieces for animation and to see his workflow. I hope in the future that there might be a course on how to animate our characters we have made.

This is the second course in the mobile game art sessions by Rafael. This course has helped me work fast, effective, and painless with Illustrator, and also provide good visual results based on the techniques and tips from the instructor. The most difficult part is to actually draw a concept art by yourself, which is not thought in this course, just introduced. But this course thought me that the concept art does not need to be that detailed, because most of the work will be done in Illustrator. For me, it is easier to work with Illustrator than with pen and paper. The drawback in this course is that it is a bit expensive, and most of the work done is covered in the first course published by the instructor. The most valuable part in this course is that you learn how to work efficiently, and have a character animation ready by the end of the course.
