d3.js - Complete Developer Data Visualization Guide (Udemy.com)

Good beginners level... Nice pace but sometimes explanations could be better. I think some of the delivery on SVG paths is inaccurate/misleading. Good overview and examples, I liked the enthusiasm and delivery of Paulo.

One of the best courses on D3, actually THE best. Even though it is on Version 5, the explanations are absolutely the best!

In general the concepts are very well explained, specially in the CSS and JavaScript part, but sometimes we notice that there're some failures in the pedagogic aspect. The instructor is very kind, but some explanations are somewhat improvised, or better, don't stick to the plan. But the main problem is the fact it's related to an old version of D3 and not the latest one.

Paulo (the instructor) does a great job at breaking down notoriously hard concepts in simple and concise manner that makes learning D3 much easier. I have 2 other D3 Udemy courses and Paulo helped me really make sense of why things are the way they are. The reason I only gave this course a 4.5 is because some of the code that he uses does not work with the latest version of d3. There have been many students that have asked questions, but never receive an answer. If you use the same version of D3 everything should work fine.

I did not have any experience in web development and I have learned a lot with this course. The instructor explained clearly the material of the course. For the future perhaps it would be worth exploring some more examples of data visualization (e.g. different types of plots) so that the course does justice to its name "The Complete Guide in d3.js".

This course has provided the structure necessary for me to connect the dots and make the necessary associations between the various aspects of d3.js. The information is presented in chunk sizes which I can easily digest and the projects help align with business requirements (e.g. connecting to APIs). I struggled to get to grips with d3.js in 2019, but since finding this course a few weeks ago, I feel positive about my progress. Thanks Paulo

I took the course because I had a production level graphical web interface to build quickly. The course was exactly what I needed.

I'm just at the beginning, I came to this Udemy-course over a free youtube tutorial from Paulo. I think he is doing a great job, very likeable person! I like the way he teaches. He doesn't first show the easiest way, he show's the understandable way and then he transforms the result to a more efficient result. So you always think: Ahhh, that ist smart - it makes everything so much easier! I think that is perfect for the learning and remembering effect. I didn't five 5 stars because he's not a perfectionist and sometimes makes mistakes he doesn't recognize or he overreads them a while till he recognizes. Or maybe that's on purpose :-) But I love him, he is great!

Clear and concise, I enjoy Paulo's teaching style as I work through the fundamentals, this lets me know that I will enjoy the main course content. Honestly makes me want to return several other courses from other instructors, and see what else Paulo has to offer in their place.

I like how Paulo breaks it down to its simplest form and makes it easy to understand and follow along. I also like how he encourages you throug the process and makes you feel like you are making progress in learning something that for some like myself can seem complex and somewhat overwhelming when you first start. I would highly recommend this course.
