the course was perfectly paced and easy to understand. I loved it and it helped me familiarize with a lot of procreate tools that I would have taken a long time to discover if I hadn't taken this course in the first place. :)

First time trying out Procreate, and thanks to this course's concise method, I'm having so much fun with it. I'm a traditional artist so there's a bit of a learning curve with illustrating digitally, but consistent practice takes care of that. All in all, A1.

Good points: very thorough overview of the "mechanics" of how to use Procreate. Includes discussion of how the functions or tools work with enough detail to start using them but not so much as to be overwhelmed. This includes some feature, such as adding text, that would be very hard to find without help. A very good introduction to the basics of digital graphics.
Weak points: I was hoping (perhaps unreasonably?) that there would be better instruction in drawing per se, since I am a beginner. Instead, the first two class exercises felt, to me, like a "throw 'em in the water and hope that they swim" approach. I am frustrated with this, which is why I rated it a 3. Moreover, I want to learn to draw but don't see myself creating comic strips or cartoons, which is the focus of the main examples. The final exercise, creating a drawing based on tracing a photo, was much less frustrating for a beginner. But, I still dont know how to get to the point where I can look at something and draw it.
