First of all thanks to the author of this course for sharing his experiences for TA career development. I am a TA as well and I participated in this course because I am quite interested in what other TAs are doing and how they solve problems, and I wish to continue to develop my career path in this domain as well (maybe further?). Almost all tools mentioned in this course are part of my survival kit, but tutor still offered many insightful opinions and suggestions, which is really helpful for me. My personal fav include those lists of things to learn further on, and two PDF document shared at the the end as bonus info. I think this course is a very nice starting point for newbies who intend to become a TA in future as well because it offers a "map" or a "tree of skills" that all candidates need to go through before they begin to travel, and it's always better to start a journey with a clear map, instead of being blind. Thanks again to the author for sharing his experiences and knowledge, and look forward to more courses from you, too. :)

A well-explained course covering almost every aspect and specialization required to work as a Technical Artist. It is not only focused on technical skills, but also on the personal and professional skill development needed to enter the industry. A few improvements and additions I would like to suggest are, Including more videos showcasing real Technical Art projects, portfolios, and tools in production use. Demonstrating final outputs and workflows so students can better understand the expected quality and practical applications. Adding examples of problem-solving approaches followed by Technical Artists in real industry scenarios. These additions would help students overcome doubts related to quality perfectionism and encourage them to focus more on solving problems effectively rather than chasing unrealistic standards.

I didn’t expect to be able to define myself as a tech artist after this course, but I did expect to learn something. The teacher covers various interesting topics, but never in depth. The knowledge shared is always too generic and too simple. The feeling I had while attending this course was that someone was explaining what the role of a tech artist is, not how to become one. This is something that should be available for free on YouTube. Not worth the money.

This course was so informative I loved it! As an introduction to Tech Art, this course in my opinion gave me the knowledge to start my journey in this field with the examples, resources and advises given. It really helped on visualizing the next steps I could take in the future. I really appreciated the final section with the guidelines for the interviews and the portfolio and even the suggestions to present myself in the market. I would appreciate if it was possible to give more examples of projects for certain hard-skills or even show an example of a portfolio. But I still highly recommend the course for people who want to start or learn more about Tech Art, it was a great introduction and I can see myself returning when I have more experience to revise some of the concepts. Thank you so much for this :) !

This is an exceptional course that provides a comprehensive roadmap for aspiring technical artists. I HIGHLY recommend it for all who just started or have an idea of becoming the Technical Artist and not sure where to start or if you just want to know what Technical Artist do in the game industry. The instuctor is amazing! Very supportive and highly-qualified. The lectures provide strong guidance of all the necessary skills for Technical Artists. They are very well prepared and good structured. I really feel the dedication of the teacher to make dense and informative lectures. I will definitely go through other courses made by the Viacheslav.

This course really helped pinpoint some details about Tech art I have yet to discover and it really filled in a lot of gaps in my knowledge overall. The course does exactly what it says on the tin and, having finished it, instead of feeling overwhelmed and nervous to continue diving into the technical side of tech art, I'm more motivated. There's still lots for me to learn but I feel more and better equipped now than before. GG's to the author! Would recommend for anyone interested.

The course provides a comprehensive overview of the technical artist role, covering both the essential technical and soft skills. It delivers exactly what it promises, offering clear and insightful descriptions in every section. This will give you a solid foundation to start planning your roadmap toward becoming a technical artist. You will gain a thorough understanding of the necessary skills for technical artists, including what you need to familiarize yourself with or improve upon—whether you are already working in the tech industry or are an artist with some foundational knowledge. I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking a broader understanding of this often-overlooked role and the extensive skill set that technical artists possess. If you're looking to plan a roadmap for your journey to becoming a technical artist or to build upon your current skillset but lack direction, this course is an excellent starting point. PROS: + Comprehensive Content: Covers both technical and soft skills in detail. + Clear and Insightful Lectures: Provides solid guidance and practical descriptions. + Great for Beginners and Intermediate Learners: Suitable for those new to the field as well as those with some existing knowledge. + Roadmap Guidance: Helps you plan your career path effectively. CONS: - May Be Overwhelming for Complete Beginners: The depth of content might be too much for those with no prior experience in tech or art. But this is to be expected. - Specific Focus: Primarily targets those interested in the technical artist role, which may not be relevant for everyone. - Pace: Some sections might feel fast-paced for learners new to the technical aspects.

Really informative collection of essentials for people getting into the Tech Art world. I have heard many new phrases through te course and for sure, after digging deeper into Tech Art, I'll be back to check how I'm progressing. Loved the resources section, very informative and helpful for the further learning (Glad to see there resources with Math dedicated for Game Dev). I would recommend it for everyone who don't know where to start in the Tech Art journey, it's a solid and well-structured start ;)

Viacheslav has a clear vision of what he's teaching. His professionalism and knowledge shows through the course, and it gives a good checkpoint for people to begin their journey. Even to people, such as myself, who want to revise topics for interviews or maybe just re-assessing themselves for a role. The course is concise and clear, sometimes there were a few audio glitches (The volume went up/down), but nothing too distracting. Would definitely recommend it to people looking to get into Tech Art or even those who are already there, but confused.

Viacheslav's course is fantastic! As someone who transitioned to tech art less than a year ago, his insights have been invaluable in guiding me on areas to expand further my knowledge. This type of information is usually scattered across the internet and you end up spending too much time aggregating all the pieces and deciding where to start learning even before you actually start, but his course provides comprehensive guidance on the different aspects of the technical art realm so you can choose the starting point that interests you the most. I highly recommend it!
