Yes, doing the ios Apps Course with Caleb was really excellent. I enjoyed doing all the Apps on the Course. Caleb is very thorough on the ios and glided us through the Course very effortlessly. As I am in the process of learnng ios and Mobile Apps, this course taught me a lot. I think that Caleb is one of the best teachers on the ios apps. I look forward to taking more Courses with him and working more exciting Projects in the Future with him. Thanks.

Dolayısıyla kodlar eski olduğundan eğer bilginiz hiç yoksa ilerlemeniz mümkün değil. Bu yüzden, önce güncel bir kurs alıp sonra buna geçerseniz eski kodları güncelleyecek temel beceriye sahip olup kursu belki bitirebilirsiniz. Bu beceri yoksa, uzak durun.

Content is a little more confusing than the first take. Also, we're now on Swift 5 and there aren't updates to it, so I had to do a lot of side research to find things. Would be nice to have a supplemental guide to follow while taking this course, otherwise, this course is obsolete.. A quick reference guide would fix that.

I've tried a number of courses on swift programming, and have gotten through most of them either a quarter way through, or sometimes even half, but then have given up due to feeling disengaged. All of them have been hard to understand, in the sense of concepts that they are talking about, rushing through the code, brushing over things and just not being that engaging in their teaching style ( the last point is subjective I know). So far in Mark Prices course ( albeit I am still just on the language basics ), it's brilliant. I've read on the reviews this part seems a little informal and it becomes more formal later on, but right now this is exactly the way I wanted to be taught on the basics, speaking my...language :-p. I know a fair amount on the basics of the Swift language but the way Mark has explained it has actually made me see a different way of viewing it and actually helping me expand my understanding, thus keeping me fully engaged, interested and wanting to learn more. I will update this review as I go on into actual app development lessons ( thus only 4.5 stars at the moment, once I get into the meat and it stays at this level I will most certainly give it 5 star rating), but so far, at the moment it is the best course I've done on Udemy for App development and Swift language.

The initial free portion of the course on YT was enough to convince me that it was pretty good stuff, but then after I started the rest of it, I realized that there were a lot of holes in the curriculum - or had been very outdated. I tried reaching out to support etc, but this course is basically abandonware. They ran out of money or something, ended up restructuring the company, and then were short-staffed and couldn't keep up with the demand. So they basically moved on to other things they thought were more important. Glad I bought it here on Udemy rather than paying $300 on their website for something they won't keep up with. Dr. Angela Yu's course seems a lot better - it's also the best rated and she explains things really well.

Mark Price, great developer and teaching well... Caleb Stultz, great developer and teaching awesome!!! Erm, Jonathan is doing good but Jacob and Jack, sorry guys, don't know how good you are on developing (you should be good) but you are teaching sooo bad (don't like to use this word, sorry again but its my real sense). I'm disappointed because Jacob's and Jack's sections are important, I'd like to watch their sections from Caleb or Mark... This is my second course, Devslopes' method differs from the first one (and that was the reason of joining this, to learn your way) but I'm sorry to be disappointed on very important sections. If you both, Mark and Caleb, achieved the whole course, I'd feel no doubt to hit 5 stars.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. My only critique would be the Realm section. I didn't get the same high energy approach & execution with the instructor as I did with the rest of the sections. I found the instructor to come across as quite uninterested, this and his explanations were not as up to standards as the rest of the course. Realm is a very common part of app development at the moment so it's a shame this section fell short of the mark.

This is a well-constructed course with humor and creativity. I recommend this course. I already took the iOS 12 , Swift 4 course by Angela and this one is close to that. The difference is that Mark does a lot more apps and gives you an insight on his real-world experience. He has published over 200+ apps. However, Angela is a better teacher; but she hasn't published more apps than Mark has.

I just love Devslopes courses! I've taken plenty of them, but just got serious now, and have been learning A LOT. Instructors are very thorough and know when is the time to explain complex topics to new programmers. Thank you so much!
