Learn and Understand C++ (Udemy.com)

It was a good refresher for me but things are explained in a way a beginner would understand also. The instructor is interesting and keeps you focused, as I said this wasn't my first encounter with c++, so I watched most of the videos at 1.5x, but I am very happy with the value I got. Looking forward to starting his keylogger project course, when I review some of the presented topics on the web. Thanks for the lessons Ermin. I decided to have a look at your courses because of your last name, but I'm still having fun guessing about your exact roots are haha. No accent whatsoever. Good instructor.

In my opinion, this course would be an excellent choice for beginners in C++. Therefore, they can pick up some basic understanding of C++ such us types, loops, conditions. Also, slightly passing by the OOP which is the core of C++. Regarding the instructor, I would thank Ermin for his commitment to the course. I believe he worked extremely hard to deliver the course, trying to explain a complex concept by very simple examples, however, it would be a good idea to introduce some real example where you can develop the use of pointers or OOP. One more time thank you very much Ermin for your effort, really appreciate it.

Malo: El instructor cometía muchos errores, no explicaba bien los conceptos ni usaba ejemplos aplicables, se atascaba en las explicaciones. El curso no está bien estructurado y algunos vídeos están desordenados. Algunos conceptos sencillos eran tratados de forma muy lenta, mientras que conceptos más complejos se explicaban de pasada. Bueno: El curso representa una buena base para aprender y profundizar mediante otras fuentes. No es obsoleto (habla de las funcionalidades agregadas en C++11). El instructor tiene un acento que se entiende perfectamente y da algunos buenos consejos de cara a un entorno profesional y de trabajo en equipo.

I used this to reinforce a C++ course. This course was a good introduction to the language. And for those wanting to learn basic C++ programming, this is great. One thing I noticed is the video about dereferencing pointers is at the very end but dereferencing is used in some of the previous videos to examine pointers. Didn't bother me as I already understood pointer basics, but it could be confusing for someone new to the topic. The presenter is very clear in his speech and it is easy to understand him. For me, it was a little slow but I just sped up the videos and that took care of it. Overall, I'd recommend if you need/want an introduction.

This is a really good course for beginners who want to learn C++. Ermin discusses all aspects of the language, often in great detail. I will say that sometimes he stumbles around with words a little, and when he uses pseudo-code to try to explain concepts all it does is confuse me. But when he shows real examples of code (which he does numerous times for every topic), and continuously repeats explanations only slightly changing wording each time, it really helps the concepts sink in, much more than I've found with any other C++ course. Because of this I definitely recommend this course for new and aspiring programmers. I'd also recommend opening an IDE and following along with him to help you learn more effectively.

It's a pretty decent course. Ermin is a good teacher - every topic is well presented and explained. That was a great opportunity to repeat the most important C++ topics. What's more, thanks to this course I could learn a lot about new C++ 11 features. Ermin! It would be great if you could make a course for more advanced students - a must buy for me.

I am a big fan of this instructor. He always explains the concepts well and is easily understood. The only recommendation I have is to edit out some of the mistakes that happen continuously throughout the course. Example: semi-colons; After the first couple I as a student understood the necessity for the semi-colon and found it annoying as the course progressed and was confronted with the same mistake made by the instructor over and over again. Just my opinion. Other than that and the repeated use of "traladalada" this is an excellent course and I learned quite a bit from it. I do recommend.

He was going awesome in the beginning tutorials that's why I gave him five stars but as he moves on he complicates all the things....He had written all the codes before and then he explains it by deleting his pre-written codes saying that it is not necessary.So, why has he written the codes before if he wanted to delete it later.The students must be confused by these type of things.Else he must delete all the previous codes before as he moves to another tutorial.Deleting the codes in tutorial is really frustrating. I think that he had made all these videos in just one day...I also don,t like tralalala and blalala.

The course is very good but could be improved with some adjustments. For example, in most videos there are some typos that end up causing the instructor to waste time checking what went wrong with the code. My suggestion would be for the videos to be edited to minimize or mitigate those errors. Another suggestion would be for these videos to be unique for each topic covered; That is, in each section that was not continuity of the previous section, that a video was made for each section. Another suggestion would be to improve the chapter that talks about Interaction with WinAPI and File Manipulation, to give better and more detailed examples on these subjects. In my opinion, they were very superficial, could be better exploited, for example, by displaying the most common functions used by C ++ in relation to WinAPI. In addition, I have no other comments on the course, I just congratulate the instructor for the lessons taught.

Course completed using Linux & Vim. I highly recommend this course. The reason I have 3.5 stars instead of four or maybe five is because there were two things that I really didn't like about this course. First was that the instructor relied to heavily on using std::cin instead of using command line arguments. Using command line argument would have had a lot of benefits over std::cin. One, it would be less coding since you could usually use the same piece of code right after int main() to fetch the command line variables/args. Two, it would allow more dynamic input into our programs without having to go back and change the source and recompile. And three, that's how programs on Linux run, most all programs use command line arguments so it would serve to teach the programming student how that works. The other thing that got to me was that in the latter lessons the videos would start with much of the code already done, I have a hard time learning this way. Those are my two complaints but this really is a good course and I do highly recommend.

Nice lecture which is actually easy to understand and I love to study more from him.
