After all, it's a decent course that does the job and gets you started on learning how to create games with Roblox. The course isn't particularly up-to-date, and I often found myself having to look elsewhere to see how things are done in the 2026 (especially regarding the interface, animation, and deprecated features). In terms of code, the instructor doesn't follow many of the naming conventions and best practices defined by Roblox, and some of the approaches he takes in scripting are questionable, but ultimately, it's a course for beginners, so that’s not too important. The instructor also doesn't explain how to publish a course on Roblox and test it live, except for a quick 5-minute overview at the end, something I actually considered particularly important.

5 stars man ! i love the way you teach ! it's incredible. Be aware that the version of roblox has changed , the course is not up to date to it but still 90% of the course is still operatable of the version i used. I don't know how to downgrade roblox nor if it's possible. Anyways highly recommend it if you're starting with Lua and roblox in general

This course starts off well for beginners, but then the pace becomes significantly faster. It's really more of a midlevel course. Also lessons 36 and 37 are sort of out of order. Even with these critiques, the instructor is likable and there's a lot of good info, and a well done project. If you need more background and explanation as to what everything means, a slower first course may be better. Otherwise, if you have a solid foundation then you will learn a lot from this course.

Loved the course. Instructor is a very well versed in Roblox. One thing I noticed is sound volume being very low on my Chromebook app. On the desktop PC via Chrome it was better. Otherwise it was good. One thing I would suggest is if you can provide a quick summary of code at end of each lesson - take a few seconds to show the entire code you edited in that lesson. It makes debugging so much easier when things don't run right. Hope to see more courses from this instructor.

A great course to get started in Roblox programming. In this course, you will learn how to get started building a world and a bit of programming. He has great examples and resources to help you get started. If you are completely new like I am, I feel this course is a great one to start with. I will be getting the rest of his courses. A+

I am now going to be speaking about the updated 2022 version since the old reviews are from the old version. I started this course on the first version and was learning a lot! I kinda liked when Brendon would make a mistake because it shows the process of fixing bugs, the newly updated course has so far been amazing. brendon talks more in-depth about stuff and is very active with questions and direct messages! I'm not done with this course just yet but I am learning so much! i HIGHLY recommend this course for beginner Roblox scripters!

although i felt i was advancing in the course. the camping game was not completed. more explanaitions in detail on loops. was needed i ended buying another course in here that explains in detail all lua basics.
